Minha teoria é que o protótico fazia o catnap pensar que ele era um amigo imaginário mas quem vê terrorizando já sabe disso, mas tem um plostuist na primeira vez que ele usou o gaz os smiling critters ficaram um pouco viciadas e começou a aumentar esse vício quanto mais eles(a) imploravan para o catnap o gaz da papola mas por dentro eles estavam tendo alucinações tortura e pesadelos com o catnap também não podemos esquecer do fato que o catnap consegue quebrar os ossos organizar eles denovo e também modificar o tamanho dele e trocar os ossos de lugar o protótico aproveitou o máximo possível dessa peculiaridade e usou para vários planos e eu quase tava esquecendo os smiling critters eles estavam sem controle eles estavam meio que viciados demais no gaz eles não conseguiram dormir sem o gaz do catnap estavam muitos viciados e não tavam com um pingo de autocontrole e quando esse incidente aconteceu os smiling critters estavam completamente sem vida por causa de esseso de gaz ou outros tipos de mortes a morte de cada um dos smiling critters e desconhecida Essa foi a minha teoria vi muitos expoilers e muitas teoria então essa teoria é meio que uma junsau das teorias e minhas teorias metade das teorias foi o terrorizando dando os créditos e a outra metade foi as minhas teoria desculpa se escrevi algo errado:/ deu um pouco de trabalho pra escrever isso tudo

I don't know who the sick scientist was who tampered the CatNap dolls with a very deadly drug, but I can speculate that CatNap requested to recall him, as if he might realize he's being used for evil deeds.
Fun fact: Poppy flowers contain opium, a very addictive drug that can be fatal if overdosed. I feel like a criminal in disguise must've smuggled poppy seeds and extracted the drug.
In the beginning before he was cured and he stopped being a monster, no...He was the Prototype's faithful follower when he was brainwashed, and even though he was saved by Player, Poppy, Kissy Missy and Andrew, he continued to be sarcastic and rude to everyone around him, because he didn't trust that his Angel was just using Catnap as a pawn and being manipulated... even more so than Catnap in my AU is only 8 years old.
