Honestly biggest bummers for me right now are obviously the progression system forcing you into a specific play style. But possibly even bigger problem is that the bags are not worth grabbing. The minimum to Maximum difference is rarely worth spending the time.

To those wanting offline mode it's within the game and functional but there catches are 1. You have to access the debug menu to find it and the crimenet 2.0 2. Literally none of your progress will carry over. You may now keep the info circulating

One small QOL update that would be amazing (and is already a mod on PC) is to add colored skills. Grit, Edge and Rush and be three different colors and you could make the skills with that specific buff the same color to find what buff you're looking for faster. It's so simplistic that a modder made it in no time. Please add this as something genuinely in the game. It would help navigating the skills so much easier.
The abysmal progression system makes me not want to play because I feel trapped in a playstyle I don't like. And the forced online makes it harder for me when I do play because I get so much lag that it messes my games up, even in solo with bots. And the bulldozers feel way too strong. They don't feel like special enemies, they feel more like full on boss fights. They wipe my whole crew in seconds because the AI bots can't fight for shit, and since the bots seem physically incapable of reviving another bot, I'm on my own, against an invincible enemy, surrounded my hitscan aimbots with no way to heal myself. Why is health and armor such a finite resource now? It feels like a fight for my life simply because every damage is permanent, it's impossible to heal any amount that really matters, armor is precious, scarce resource, and there's no way to take cover when the aimbot hitscan enemies take up every square inch of the entire map whenever the game wants. Especially if you want me to jump through all these hoops just to get any XP at all to unlock any abilities that could alleviate any of the above, but even then, 10% extra damage can only do so much when the bulldozer unit is about as tanky as an actual bulldozer, and his stun lasts for about an hour.

Even if they aren’t actually ignoring the really big issues like offline mode for payday 3, it really feels like it. Basic stuff like this should have been priority. Especially after that joke of a release, which was caused purely by them thinking that it wouldn’t happen. So they just didn’t do anything in case it did happen? If there’s the chance, you shouldn’t ignore it.
I stopper playing PD3 after reaching level 41 and I didn’t get any XP or IP points exept if i wanna do all those ridiculous and stupid challenges… and yes, i got all the trophies and fully unlocked all the skills around level 30… this XP and IP system is too stupid for words…! Stealth / Loud mission searching should be implemented in the matchmaking system. Not many Heisters are Stealthers.. makes finding a lobby when you want to full stealth a mission with a random payday player who also wants to stealth rough when there's that 1 player who brought grenades and 0 suppressed weapon. Runs in and starts shooting the place up..then they don't vote to restart forcing me to leave cause it's on OK and I have standard lining on....
I'm level 101 and I would say out of all the lobbies I've been in on public matchmaking. There's about a 20% chance that another player is going to be using a throwing knife... that's the ONLY indication that we have as to seeing if someone is trying to stealth or not... what happens when someone wants to stealth a mission and they join a lobby full of players that have grenades and armor bags... 2 options. Change your loadout and put up with the loud. Or back out and search again... and again and again.. what happens when someone doesn't NEED to go loud anymore. And is forced to keep dodging lobbies to find the right one for the challenges they need to get done in order to gain IP...
Payday 3 is an actual embarrassment.. I will give you credit when credit is due though, so good job making payday 3 cross platform and good job with the using camera features.

As from what I‘ve heard it isn’t their fault but rather problems they have with the Playstation network. So IMO it seems like it should be something that Sony should take care of as the players are customers of both.
This game as a sequel to Payday 2 is such a disservice and disrespectful disappointment to the community that I would take an equal amount of joy if it either got better or if all the devs became bankrupt and the game disappears completely. This game should have been good at launch, not after multiple DLC’s and core content changes. They took everything good in Payday 2 and gutted it into oblivion, no crime net, pistols as secondaries only, no LMG’s, no multi day heists, no crime net, no melee weapons, no akimbo, forget about pausing the game even if your playing solo. The overall lack of content and punishing leveling system is something I’d expect from a free to play game that charges you real money to bypass it. They said the sever issues at launch were unforeseen circumstances which makes me think the devs are blind and def because people everywhere were screaming it would happen and it did. Any negative criticism’s they receive are warranted, so far this game is a lazy cash grab.

Payday 3 is going good so far! I played it for a while and it was a blast! And it is good to hear that they are working hard on the game and fixing it!
Payday 3 is a lot like Payday 2’s launch. The concept and what they have is what’ll draw people in despite the godawful launch, and the devs will continue to patch and support the game. Payday has always bounced back. Happened when payday 2 first launched, happened when they put MTX lootboxes in payday 2 (with technical p2w elements), and it happened when they went back to pd2 after the disasterous “walking dead” game they made.

It's a disgusting trend in game industry, the disaster launch state of not independent ones. Now you can't pre-order cause that. But to get credit most games are fixed after all so I don't lost trust, probably it's necessary financially I don't know and it's never a developer decision. So I haven't lost my trust to them I just see the picture of the industry as it is, now a days you just enter to prealpha projects from even bigger companies than this one for a full priced game. Thanks to the end of covid and the summer games aren't as peak popularity as yesterday and every day passes your losing potential clients, so rushing as been normalized as the smartest solution. But the problem is people buying without knowledge of what they buying and then claiming that they have been scammed, on the internet everywhere with a smartphone in your pocket. If you don't know the flaws of a product, I think your have done a poor research and buy based on adds/paid content or just fanboy dreams. I don't like this to happen but If happens I have enough balls to blame on companies before blaming myself for been a kid in a candy store, buying by shape and color 👉👈. As I said probably it's more an invertor/shareholders thing, obviously developers talk last and to say sorry as you see, but not even the companies that you mentioned I believe they think it's a great idea, but there's contracts and laws to push. So by pre-order games you take out power to any company to call the investors and said I told you this is a disaster, from now on you put the money I made games and launched only when ready. How they could even try to push to the actual boss (almost any company are owned by investors) if their selling numbers aren't affected? How did you go to your bosses to ask them for more quality products if the numbers in cash, the only thing that really matters, are on your bosses side? Costumers buying bad products are the ones asking for them, not the companies that produce them, in most cases, not in the crypto world space 😅, by 3rt party companies that doesn't understand gaming, computers, cars or films, they just care about paying a price and get more in return. So don't support financially this practices and then complain about, put your money where your mouth is doesn't always mean spend, sometimes you have to put the money in your pocket and refuse to buy. Way more important than go to support one politician or the other one at this point where macro investment companies owned almost everything, including the politicians.

@@SonyStudioPro you people are complaining about one of the smallest issues of the game, you don't get stuck in the levels until level 85 or so, as long as you're not a boring stoic tosser that just uses the same shit every time and gets burnt out on the game.
Sunk about 40 hours in so far. I think i've hit a wall on meaningful content and now it's just a grind for very minor benefits like cosmetics and gun mods. I've had a lot of fun and fundamentally I think were in the right direction. However I have some serious gripes currently. Overkill weapon system sucks. It just sucks and it really should outright be removed. It's going to stifle main weapon choice inevitably and both of the current weapons feel awful to use. Not to mention the drop locations for them are horrendous and unusable in most situations. Bullet sponge enemies are not fun in any game and your game is no different. Even if you are specced appropriately on higher difficulties enemies just gobble up ammo. Whether that is a weapon balance issue or enemy health issue is up for debate but it's pretty ridiculous that you have to 3 shot some guys with a shotgun. Several objectives are outright awful and slow the pacing to a crawl. Specifically extended phone hacking and GPS points. Pretty much the entirety of 99 boxes is fucking abysmal to play. Literally the only reason I even seen people playing 99 boxes is to xp glitch. RNG what favors get offered on a mission sucks and feels really bad. Need to find a way to utilize resources earned in order to get them.

Get RID of having to mask up on OVERKILL in order to pick locks. It's difficult enough contending with a lead guard and indestructible cameras and particularly the Rock the Cradle mission, the whole area is a trespassing zone even without a mask on. Not very stealth friendly on Overkill difficulty in some of these mission when it's mandatory to mask up especially to be able to pick locks. Forcing to mask up for the smallest of things on Overkill such as lock picking is more or less forcing the player to go loud.
To be honest I think loud isn't as good as stealth I prefer a "mini game" for revive friends, a mini game for avoid like enemy forces from enter from a certain respawn cause is "unsafe" to them or get real bonuses to have hostages and move them with you. So instead of speed running like payday 2, for both stealth and loud you take more interaction moments like you pushing in stealth. If the game have to be always on-line should be nice to force 1 player to move a guard from his default location so the 2 player could enter/pass in stealth or disabling a full squad/respawn by some "trap" only usable/deployable by 2 players. But I think stealth is way better than payday 2, murky water that you just speed run while pipipipipi, I love how you develop the Stealth gameplay and looking forward for the things to come, but I think loud isn't as fresh. It's so true that speed running with pistols killing everyone it's not broken, but I love to see shotguns been balanced, so there's more gameplay available, by testing different builds that aren't useful for hardest difficulty levels, that's a huge improvement in Payday 3, but I think if you can improve interaction level in loud just by adding more "mini-games" in interactions (I love the door system but I also think over do it could be not as satisfying as a new "mini-game" for new interaction, not all timing related is what I mean, some cable cut or joint, some burning bullet hole and glue, computer hacking choosing from commands that engage loud or start a cooldown system reset if your in loud if failing....) I don't dislike the game I just dreaming of what I want to play in a perfect world. It's nice that you actually listen to costumers. Thanks!
Where are the updates? Is the game dead already after 2 months? What a dissapointment, just implement what you did in Payday 2 to Payday 3, you already have the best heist game, you just need to implement those features to your new engine. We do not need new ideas because we all love Payday 2, give new ideas if we hate it, that's it.
Only reason payday 2 never got reliable console support is because of how good awful the Diesel game engine was to work with. It’s why it took mountains of dlc on PC first, before consoles would be caught up.
@@evlastr1 They gave those versions everything up to the original “final update” (White House heist). They haven’t updated them for the newer heists, and given their performance on PC, it’d be a nightmare for consoles.
@@evlastr1 As far as I know, only PlayStation is having issues with the dlc, and that’s due to Sony taking awhile to process and approve the fix. Plus, thanks to them using the Unreal engine, Consoles won’t have to wait years for updates since they’ll only have to tweak things. Hell, I suspect Overkill will actually try to release each update+patch at the same time for all platforms (since they no longer have a reason *not* to), instead of pumping them out for PC and having to deal with porting issues later.

I know this is not a bug but falling off a edge and taking some damage makes the character put on mask should be changed

This game as a sequel to Payday 2 is such a disservice and disrespectful disappointment to the community that I would take an equal amount of joy if it either got better or if all the devs became bankrupt and the game disappears completely. This game should have been good at launch, not after multiple DLC’s and core content changes. They took everything good in Payday 2 and gutted it into oblivion, no crime net, pistols as secondaries only, no LMG’s, no multi day heists, no crime net, no melee weapons, no akimbo, forget about pausing the game even if your playing solo. The overall lack of content and punishing leveling system is something I’d expect from a free to play game that charges you real money to bypass it. They said the sever issues at launch were unforeseen circumstances which makes me think the devs are blind and def because people everywhere were screaming it would happen and it did. Any negative criticism’s they receive are warranted, so far this game is a lazy cash grab.

Payday 3 is going good so far! I played it for a while and it was a blast! And it is good to hear that they are working hard on the game and fixing it!
Payday 3 is a lot like Payday 2’s launch. The concept and what they have is what’ll draw people in despite the godawful launch, and the devs will continue to patch and support the game.
Payday has always bounced back. Happened when payday 2 first launched, happened when they put MTX lootboxes in payday 2 (with technical p2w elements), and it happened when they went back to pd2 after the disasterous “walking dead” game they made.
Im sorry to say that, but i really love your game and its a shame that ,even After a complete Failure Launch, you first confirm a false date of an Patch which fixes main issues which should have been fixed before Release, (im sorry, but when ps5 players cant even get their content for what they payed for in the first month of its Release its kind of sad) then you say the Patch get splittet and the FIRST Patch gets released on October 5, and on OCTOBER 5th you tweet on X that the update isnt ready because its unstable???? Excuse me, but you lost your trust to your Community and even after that you made two false Calls for the Upcoming update and cant even give us a Date now?

It's a disgusting trend in game industry, the disaster launch state of not independent ones. Now you can't pre-order cause that.
But to get credit most games are fixed after all so I don't lost trust, probably it's necessary financially I don't know and it's never a developer decision. So I haven't lost my trust to them I just see the picture of the industry as it is, now a days you just enter to prealpha projects from even bigger companies than this one for a full priced game.
Thanks to the end of covid and the summer games aren't as peak popularity as yesterday and every day passes your losing potential clients, so rushing as been normalized as the smartest solution.
But the problem is people buying without knowledge of what they buying and then claiming that they have been scammed, on the internet everywhere with a smartphone in your pocket. If you don't know the flaws of a product, I think your have done a poor research and buy based on adds/paid content or just fanboy dreams.
I don't like this to happen but If happens I have enough balls to blame on companies before blaming myself for been a kid in a candy store, buying by shape and color 👉👈.
As I said probably it's more an invertor/shareholders thing, obviously developers talk last and to say sorry as you see, but not even the companies that you mentioned I believe they think it's a great idea, but there's contracts and laws to push. So by pre-order games you take out power to any company to call the investors and said I told you this is a disaster, from now on you put the money I made games and launched only when ready. How they could even try to push to the actual boss (almost any company are owned by investors) if their selling numbers aren't affected?
How did you go to your bosses to ask them for more quality products if the numbers in cash, the only thing that really matters, are on your bosses side?
Costumers buying bad products are the ones asking for them, not the companies that produce them, in most cases, not in the crypto world space 😅, by 3rt party companies that doesn't understand gaming, computers, cars or films, they just care about paying a price and get more in return.
So don't support financially this practices and then complain about, put your money where your mouth is doesn't always mean spend, sometimes you have to put the money in your pocket and refuse to buy. Way more important than go to support one politician or the other one at this point where macro investment companies owned almost everything, including the politicians.
They can't have a day one patch thanks to cross progression which means we have to wait for each patch no matter the size to be approved by consoles
All they care for is making as much money as possible… i have ps5 and pc but i stopped on both because the point system for XP and IP is too stupid for words…

Sunk about 40 hours in so far. I think i've hit a wall on meaningful content and now it's just a grind for very minor benefits like cosmetics and gun mods. I've had a lot of fun and fundamentally I think were in the right direction. However I have some serious gripes currently.
Overkill weapon system sucks. It just sucks and it really should outright be removed. It's going to stifle main weapon choice inevitably and both of the current weapons feel awful to use. Not to mention the drop locations for them are horrendous and unusable in most situations.
Bullet sponge enemies are not fun in any game and your game is no different. Even if you are specced appropriately on higher difficulties enemies just gobble up ammo. Whether that is a weapon balance issue or enemy health issue is up for debate but it's pretty ridiculous that you have to 3 shot some guys with a shotgun.
Several objectives are outright awful and slow the pacing to a crawl. Specifically extended phone hacking and GPS points. Pretty much the entirety of 99 boxes is fucking abysmal to play. Literally the only reason I even seen people playing 99 boxes is to xp glitch.
RNG what favors get offered on a mission sucks and feels really bad. Need to find a way to utilize resources earned in order to get them.
Hey guys. Why make a video saying your going to fix the game when it should’ve been ready at launch? Cause now you’ll be spending more time fixing the game instead of adding new content. Get RID of having to mask up on OVERKILL in order to pick locks. It's difficult enough contending with a lead guard and indestructible cameras and particularly the Rock the Cradle mission, the whole area is a trespassing zone even without a mask on. Not very stealth friendly on Overkill difficulty in some of these mission when it's mandatory to mask up especially to be able to pick locks. Forcing to mask up for the smallest of things on Overkill such as lock picking is more or less forcing the player to go loud.
To be honest I think loud isn't as good as stealth I prefer a "mini game" for revive friends, a mini game for avoid like enemy forces from enter from a certain respawn cause is "unsafe" to them or get real bonuses to have hostages and move them with you. So instead of speed running like payday 2, for both stealth and loud you take more interaction moments like you pushing in stealth.
If the game have to be always on-line should be nice to force 1 player to move a guard from his default location so the 2 player could enter/pass in stealth or disabling a full squad/respawn by some "trap" only usable/deployable by 2 players.
But I think stealth is way better than payday 2, murky water that you just speed run while pipipipipi, I love how you develop the Stealth gameplay and looking forward for the things to come, but I think loud isn't as fresh. It's so true that speed running with pistols killing everyone it's not broken, but I love to see shotguns been balanced, so there's more gameplay available, by testing different builds that aren't useful for hardest difficulty levels, that's a huge improvement in Payday 3, but I think if you can improve interaction level in loud just by adding more "mini-games" in interactions (I love the door system but I also think over do it could be not as satisfying as a new "mini-game" for new interaction, not all timing related is what I mean, some cable cut or joint, some burning bullet hole and glue, computer hacking choosing from commands that engage loud or start a cooldown system reset if your in loud if failing....)
I don't dislike the game I just dreaming of what I want to play in a perfect world. It's nice that you actually listen to costumers.

Only reason payday 2 never got reliable console support is because of how good awful the Diesel game engine was to work with. It’s why it took mountains of dlc on PC first, before consoles would be caught up.

@@evlastr1 They gave those versions everything up to the original “final update” (White House heist). They haven’t updated them for the newer heists, and given their performance on PC, it’d be a nightmare for consoles.

@@evlastr1 As far as I know, only PlayStation is having issues with the dlc, and that’s due to Sony taking awhile to process and approve the fix.
Plus, thanks to them using the Unreal engine, Consoles won’t have to wait years for updates since they’ll only have to tweak things. Hell, I suspect Overkill will actually try to release each update+patch at the same time for all platforms (since they no longer have a reason *not* to), instead of pumping them out for PC and having to deal with porting issues later.
