So here is Michael Barrymore in action presenting one of his most popular gameshows and looking for those dreaded hotspots on the TV screens.

That ending...was AWESOME!!
Love micheal barrymore
The 1991 series got a new studio set designed by Ian Russell, very similar to the original set (which was designed by Alison Wratten; modified by Peter Elliot for seasons 4 and 5), but with a blue background rather than a pink one. It remained in use until the 1993/4 season; was modified slightly by Nik Callan for the eigth series in 1992.
Great game this one, well played by the couple
That is Nick Jackson as announcer on this edition of Strike it Lucky
Im watching this episode like now.
Andrew reminds me of Christopher Reeve. Same physical features.
When he was introducing himself he shook hands with everyone except the asian dude 🤣
Yeh so!.would you?
That rap was astonishingly cringeworthy.
Bit like your post.
Word
.
every episode there seems to be a cripple either married or with a partner
Why would they remove him..?He is so funny and very good at what he does
The producers were trolling those lads in the middle
There's something not quite right about these reruns of Strike it Lucky. The original Thames and Central end boards from the time of broadcast have been plastered over with the 1997 Thames logo and the FremantleMedia logo. Luckilly, there is some evidence on facebook, youtube and dailymotion on how these episodes should have ended.
I remember the 1993/94 series. "Thames Television Production for Central", "A Central Programme for ITV".
The two lads never had a hotspot in that round and got all them prizes - there must've been one in the next screen
I think that's just the luck of the screens. The hotspots are randomly mixed up in the screens and nobody in the studio knows exactly how many hotspots are in the screens or where the hotspots are. However, there's an on screen graphic that tells us how many hotspots are in the screens quite early in the show. There are as many as up to eight. As I said, how many hotspots there are or where they are is completely unknown to the host, contestants and studio audience.
Nah, the next prizes were going to be;
- Week Spa Retreat
- Flower arranging lessons
You can be so funny at time's, well done on the multiplier card😅
