I spent so much time as a kid there. My dad would take me a lot around 2002-2005. I remember it being really busy especially on weekends. These days, I imagine they probably get barely half the amount of people. Although I still think a "Cool rat from New Jersey" was such a strange idea for a pizza arcade mascot.
I lived through the last part of the avenger era and I remember being really confused when I saw the redesign of Chuck. For a while, there were still arcade games (I mostly remember there being a really fun basketball game and Tower Of Power) and artwork on the walls from this era for a while but they’re gone now. I miss this era, It was just as cool as Chuck E even said it was.
It really was cool. I also remember being confused why Chuck had changed. Like you said, the same thing happened to me. My local Kendall, started removing the hood nostalgic games in favor of new ones which I didn’t like.

But, still, it baffles me that Chuck E Cheese is taking away the things that made their business big in the first place. My location is lucky enough to at least still have a Studio C Chuck (Which I’ve caught staring directly at me multiple times, which at this point I’m 90% sure that they have someone manually controlling him).

I Use To At Chuck-E-Cheese I did every job i wanted to do i especially got be in the Chuck-E costume that was my favorite part of working there. I especially love their pizza and buffalo wings and the sodas.
