Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad you're on the mend. The saddlebag rails look really good! Definitely improves the look of the back end IMO and extra protection is always nice.
Jese , that's just real bad luck, WTF. Sorry to hear the bad news, at least you're still here and didn't get killed. A guy I knew in high school, in 1980 was killed with his girlfriend on a Vmax, same deal, we gotta watch those lefthand turners or the guys that don't look changing lanes, Jese. Anyway, those bag rails or guards look really good. Never seen those before on a Kawasaki, Im going to look into them for mine, WoW. Glad to see you didn't bite the dust, Take Care and Be Safe.
I wonder if you were on the Kawaharley, would you have got as banged up as you did???? I had something happen to me almost; a guy 5 cars ahead of me slammed his brakes on to turn left into his driveway and caused a chain reaction. I don't know how I didn't hit the van's back door while my brakes were locked up. I was skidding and was coming closer and then the brakes just released themselves and I stopped, Jese. The K-act system saved a bad one.
Naw, if I were on the Voyager, it wouldn't have happened. There's really no way of locking up the front brake and let's face it, the bike weighs half a ton 😳 I believe my days on the Vmax are drawing to an end, I'll save my 0 to 600 for the jets I fly.
You suffered some serious injuries, are you sure you are going to be able to handle the Vulcan?I am a big guy 72 yrs old and at times I wish it wasn't so damn heavy.
Well, I know my power lifting days are over now but I have high hopes on a full recovery in the near future. Everyday, things get a little better and I am slowly regaining the use of my arms. It's the reason I haven't posted much lately but aside from the recovering nerve pain, I just won't give up. I'm not ready to throw in the towel.

Get well. Drink lots of milk and salads for bone and tissue. Stay warm 😎
Thanks for the kind thoughts and will do!
