Do you guys think RobTop is still in the process of creating new official levels? Well, I think the fan-made level did a better job than real 2.2 official level. But I'm hoping that RobTop will one day create a better level and show it to us.

Despite the fanmade dash being good, Robtop's is better because he put the fact that the average player wont want to go from fingerdash to a demon with a million new forced effects and shaders into consideration.

Knowing how easy dash is, its safe to say Explorers definitely isnt going to be as hard as that insane demon.
I don't see RobTop ever making an official level higher than "easy medium demon" difficulty tbh. I'd assume he wants to keep it simple for players and leave it to the community to make these impossible looking demons.

i honestly wish they incorporated 0:34 to 1:33 for the actual level, would've been sick no matter how 'difficult' it may seem. now that 2.2 is out someone should make a replica of this dash level
Agreed! There is literally no sync in 80%-83% (robot section before entering mini cube section). It feels like a missed opportunity as it would be super satisfying if it is in sync!

These fanmade 2.2 levels are FIRE. I'm getting hyped for Geometry Dash 2.2, hope it will release in this year 😊

Yeah the drop In dash with the screen multiplying looked super annoying, definitely something Robert would do
@@robloxuniverses9912 he wouldn't do that, because it ignores all the gameplay philosophy that was developed and used in his previous levels.
+ it could create a lot of imbalance with the level's difficulty, and interfere with being fun. Better to use for an automatic transition or something like that, which doesn't require imputs. Otherwise it's just confusing.

I can only imagine how much harder demons are going to become. You’d probably not even be able to process what’s happening without slowing down the video
It’s going to be sad for me, becuase I can’ even beat a 2.1 demon or ANY demon fort that matter. I can barely beat ToH. It’s going to be hard for me.
I can beat demons that don’t have tough dual challenges and a lot of straight flying, but the screen effects that are going to be added make me think that clubstep is just going to be a insane level compared to the demons in 2.2

The second half of Explorers has some of the most well-implemented, clean, and uniquely interesting camera movement/gravity changes I've seen out of 2.2. Combine that on top of very good indicators and it makes for a crazy good level. Can't wait to play this update live and try some of these out for myself

They are both really good but SO difficult to follow, feel like memory levels more than official levels

i agree theres too many mechanics put into one level to the point it makes it look nearly impossible
looking back fanmade explorers replicated the feel of the level AMAZINGLY, or atleast what we had from the trailer. something about fanmade dash just doesn’t sit right well with me tho, the community tried too hard to make dash a demon and it just doesn’t feel right since the level is insane

What I like about the music is that it's great that they're keeping a lot of the techniques, harmonically and sonically, from the 2008-2014 newgrounds era.

Bro I don't care if 2.2 releases in another 3 years or not, all I want is for Colon's video to get recognition bc it really explained how it feels like a custom level and not ol reliable that the robtop levels feel and give us. On all honestly I would love if robtop would redo some parts of these levels because he really is just throwing in new mechanics we haven't learned and it feels like it all over the place, I wouldn't even mind if half the features weren't in the new levels, I just want some balance and the feeling of the robtop levels back

The best part about these remakes is that they don't depend on looking like the structure of the official level since we don't know yet.
Instead, every single one has an unique layout and decoration, making every single. It's really amazing :3

2.2 is gonna be awesome but I think the new triggers will make sight readability pretty much non existent, causing even normal levels to be memory ones. I mean look at the cross part in Explorers, there is no indication at all on whats coming unless you've been there.

I'm surprised how people manage to make these amazing levels with exploding effects before 2.2 is released.Hope 2.2 will come this year or in 2024 since you can make amazing features to add a sense of adventure in your levels

I completed this version of dash in the 2.2. GDPS editor. I must say, it was very difficult to get used to the new camera angles and swing copter, but it was very fun and definitely gave me a head start for my skill set once 2.2 officially releases.

While these are really well made, I worry about the features of 2.2 introducing way too many gimmicks, making levels even worse when it comes to sight reading. It's already a huge problem in GD that most really "difficult" levels are getting half their difficulty from hidden paths and invisible jump pads, but I'm worried this will make things even worse.

Like, the level looks incredible but half of it is completely unreadable, i know a demon is supposed to be difficult and demand practice but these transitions are terrible and a h uge downgrade from the other levels of the game. I know these are fanmade but they were made with the design from the sneak peeks in mind and that's a bit worrying

Not only is this gameplay insane, but the aesthetics of these levels is too tier. They’re stylish while still being easy to follow which is great

I actually don't think I'll like the 2.2 update when it gets released.
I've been playing since 1.7-1.8 and I have noticed that every time the game gets updated, the community gets obsessed with the new features for some time and the online levels completely suck for a few months, and then people starts noticing what,s good and what,s bad for gameplay.
The move triggers in 2.0 are a great example, people overused them til they noticed overusing move triggers was horrible, then gameplay got better. In 2.1, the same thing happened with the spider, the lava style, the shake effect or the dash orbs (just look at Colorblind, that shit was awful), until a year later or so people started making balanced gameplay.
This update is gonna be way bigger than any other this game had, and that means the community will remain in that mindset of overusing the new features in a horrible way for YEARS.
I see this as an inminent threat for the GD community, and I will probably leave the game when 2.2 gets released.
Crazy how you think it's going to be years for them to get used to this. Buddy the dash level isn't even a bad level. It's sight-readable and isn't even bad. The explorers fan made level overuses the features. 2.2 will be a good update.

This is 2 levels… Robtop is putting the stuff from a couple other updates into 2.2, and that’s why it is taking so long
