I have seen both of the portobello pizza you have posted. The one with little pepperoni cut and olives and all on the oven and these. In your opinion, which tye of cooking has the best outcome? To cook them first like this video on the air fryer? Or to go directly from zero to prep on the oven all like the last video?? Thanks for your answer!

I just made it for dinner with two modifications due to what I have . I used baby Swiss and Parmesan and I added some Italian sausage (still keto/calorie friendly). I used less oil and no spices since my marinara was homemade and seasoned ice,y already.
This recipes is really good and I will be making it again as it has the pizza taste but it is going to be obvious that the crust is missing in the event you expect miracles.

Destem, scrape out gills, wash, then carry on.
It does look good. Grate your cheese though, the preshredded stuff is trash for your body.

Easier to take them out of the air fryer then fill it up with your spices and then your sauce I'm just saying I don't know

yep you need to scrap the gills that fact you didn't do that is CRAZY.. and 2nd you need to let them set for 1hr in the oil and seasoning, doing those two things would make this 10000% better
Why do I need to scrap the gills? I never heard of that. Also I agree it will probably taste better marinated if you have the time, but I just want to make it quick 😃

Sorry Monty but you don't NEED to scrape the gills. They are completely edible. Especially here, where they are covered by cheese. In other recipes, the worst they do is change the color of the recipe.
This could of been a lot more interesting With the addition of the chopped up mushroom stalks ( no waste ), some smoked ham or bacon black olives and snippets of anchovy’s before topping with cheese🧀

The stems on portabellos are woody and tough. I would not chop them up, but al the other adds sound fantastic. 😀
