This western is set in Valencia, Spain at the end of the 19th century, and stars Terence Hill as a close-mouthed gunslinger. The bad guy is the local landlord and aristocrat (Fernando Rey), who horribly abuses the laborers in his community.

"Tight-lipped and blithely indifferent gunslinger Marco (a fine and intense Terence Hill in a refreshing change-of-pace serious role) gets hired by evil land baron Don Antonio (the always excellent Fernando Ray) to assassinate a man who's planning to start a revolution amongst the local oppressed and impoverished peasants. After finishing his assignment, Marco realizes the error of his ways and sides with the peasants to overthrow Antonio's cruel reign. Director Mario Camus, who also co-wrote the thoughtful and literate script, eschews the expected shoot 'em up formula in favor of something more lofty and ambitious: a thinking man's oater that deals with the weighty Marxist theme of how the strong and wealthy upper class make their living exploiting and degrading the poor and powerless lower class. While it sounds heavy-handed and the pace periodically drags in spots, this movie nonetheless manages to be a gripping and satisfying viewing experience thanks to the well-drawn central characters, the right-on leftist politics, and occasional outbursts of exciting and well-staged action. Kudos are also in order for the sturdy acting from a capable cast: Hill in particular excels in a meaty non-comedic lead role, plus there are praiseworthy contributions from Rey, Mario Pardo as Marco's loyal, easygoing brother and partner Jacobo, Maximo Valverde as the mean Ramon, Angel Lombarte as the hot-headed, but decent and charismatic worker's union leader Jose, Maria Grazia Buccella as feisty hotel proprietor Soledad, and William Layton as the humane Don Lucas. Another comment from about a year ago correctly states that this is not a Trinity movie. The original title is La Collera del Vento (sp?), or The Wind's Fierce. It was made right before They Call Me Trinity (1970). Another Terence Hill film that is more like Trinity is "My Name is Nobody", also starring Henry Fonda, which came out in 1973. Trinity fans will enjoy it for sure.
Thank goodness. Because Trinity is like a good guy in those films to me. This film not so much.

This movie of Terence Hill is a real surprise.. He acted so well in a complete new personality.. Away from the usual funny banters.. Great film indeed with a sad end..
Mr Hill plays comedy and straight roles with absolute skill. One of my all taime favourite actors.

I've never seen this one before. Some elements of the plot were predictable, though others were not. Very well written, directed, and acted out! The poor orphan boys' destiny was written in stone from the time they took money for their deeds.

This wasn't a Trinity film - they're bonkers and good-natured. This was dark - Terence Hill in a different - DIFFERENT - role.
Some actors have a special chemistry with the camera. Terence Hill was one of those actors.

Folks commenting that this movie isn't like the other Trinity movies ... That's because it's not part of the Trinity series. There are only two. This is what happens when distributors want to cash in on an actor's rise in popularity. The original title is "The Wind's Fierce". It's not the only movie they wacked the Trinity name on .. "Boot Hill" is another one they try to pass off as a Trinity sequel. It's not.
This one is on a serious note, a real western and not just a comedy, well played.

I believe the actual title to this movie is called The Wind's Fierce. Trinity Sees Red was tagged on this to capitalize on the Trinty movies. Terence Hill is obviously not playing the same character.

The Movie was most entertaining and the story was written so nicely though the ending was rather sad but befitting for a paid killer that found his redemption and tried to atone for his past deeds and sins to ride in the right path knowing it's a long shot.. A fine lesson to learn when you are young and have a long life ahead to live and learn things in the world.Tq for the movie and upload to youtube channel.

I love terence hill and i really love the trinity movies he did. I'd never seen this before its definitely not like the first two trinity movies they were way more laid back funny and he is so cool and laid back. This one is far more dramatic and his performance is the same not any humor in it. I like the first two better and they were my introduction to terence hill who i try to see all his movies now. But for just a straight up western this is still a good flick and im glad i seen it. Gives terence a chance to show more of his acting skills with some drama. Good movie all and all well worth watching. Thanks for the upload love this channel lots of great stuff here. I would recommend this movie and if your a terence hill fan like me its nice to see him in a different tone here. I enjoyed it

I have watched many western movies specifically from this channel. It is definitely appreciateable of their gun shooting style.

This is not a Trinity movie. It was made before them and is not connected to them. Original title was The Wind's Fierce. This movie was re-released in many countries with a 'Trinity' in the title after the big success of They Call Me Trinity.

I watched all the movies of Terence. Great actor.. I remember I used to stand in line for the ticket the area was very narrow only one person can stand below their was gutter which was about five feet. Once I fell in that gutter. Though I'm only five feet.

i missed bud spenser, and looked strange without stock saddles, he was only ever a cplut actor, but enjoyable to watch, been a fan for over 50 years
Watched this because I am a Terence Hill fan. Listed as part of the Trinity series and a spaghetti western. It is neither. A much more complex film than the typical spaghetti western. Perhaps Terence Hill's best role. This movie, though set in Spain around 1900, is almost like a prequel to the Godfather films.
It's a spaghetti western , it's a good one.
