Maria L. Clare is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Tbh , Leon said the word "vibes" easily more than a dozen times and yet the vibes was STILL off in the room , you're right , even more noticeable at the very end when Joe brings it up.
The hosts are so bad at their jobs. It’s so irritating. None of them do their homework, they don’t listen to the music, they don’t do research, they don’t ask meaningful questions. It’s so frustrating.

Zoe Kravitz looking chick. same vibe, same style of dress, skin color, dreads & all. she's a musician & we used to collaborate too, just like Leon & his ex. Leon's ex seems like the type of chick that Benny Butcher is rapping about on Leon's song "X-rated" she's definitely not worth all the smoke he had for her on the album. better to level up & move on. them far left liberal progressive, earthy Zoe Kravitz looking chicks, with the smelly candles, star signs & tarot cards, they be fake good girls. they're no good. not family oriented, promiscuous, hypergamous. Leon should thank God for that relationship not working out because he dodged a massive bullet.
This seems to be a thing with excellent song writers. I havent heard the album so I cant speak for this case but it does happen often. I wonder if it comes down to being used to writing in the perspective of others? Its almost the equivalent to battle rappers that try to make albums but their expertise is usually utilized much better in the field they’re most experienced in
@ That’s a good point. He’s such a good writer (for SZA and others) that maybe it’s hard for him to turn the switch off and focus on himself in a more personal way. I feel like the songs could be sang by anybody. Whereas someone like Chris Brown will give you a non-fictional, autobiography like songs about Karrueche or Rihanna.

If you do some more digging you will see Joe style influenced Drakes

I like Leon. But the album is very surface level. It’s catchy and full of vibes. But there’s no substance. It’s all concepts really.
