Damn! Those OST back in the days where awesome. Sega, Nintendo, Capcom, Sunsoft, Konami....all had such a talented cast of music artist at hand. Whre are they now. Why do modern Games with all the technical and financial possibilities not have such good tunes? Or did i play the wrong games in the last 30 years?
Oh man, I know! I feel exactly the same way. Music in games over the past couple of decades has been very lackluster. People who didn't grow up playing classic games might not realize this, but it's the truth. Music in new games is mostly atmospheric/non-objective type of music and it's really upsetting. It's even crazier that the classic composers you mention were often under strict time constraints to get things done. I always wonder how they came up with such genius music time after time.
This is beautiful! This was crafted with love. During the entire video I had a huge grin on my face and was transported back to my early childhood in the early 90s. Each melody is perfectly ingrained in my brain and I enjoyed this inmensely. I had such an obsession with anything related to the game. I'm quite sure it was a huge influence in my world wandering lifestyle as I grew up. I've visited most of these locations, Street Fighter made many of my generation interested in foreign cultures and travelling. The greatest legend in the history of videogames of all times. Subscribed, and really hope the views increase, this jewel deserves that justice. Standing ovation from Ushuaia, Argentina 🇦🇷

Great job! The world locations let us imagine fights in real life with the characters. 😁 The video of the chinese street made me dream and allowed me a little "spinning bird kick" then "YATTA" ! And a "Sonic Boom!" seing the F16 takeoffs. 😅 In fact, all real locations take me back to my SF2 childhood. 😍 This is amazing ! Thank you.
That is a big friggin Kalimba and I love it!! my favorites were, Blanka, Dhalsim, Honda, Sagat... but all of them were excellent, your video makes me appreciate a lot of the effort made to depict real world beauty and the majestuosity of these songs... They´re very awesome musical pieces. So many instruments, most of which I don´t know at all but I love the way they sound!
0:45 That mode select sound followed by this amazing cover of the character select theme, I keep coming back to this. The cycling through the World Warriors and then the select sound on Ryu. So many feelings 😭
God tier Holy edit and instrumentals. sharing this with everyone that grew up with this revolution as I was only 4 years old in a smokey arcade with my older brothers playing this in the early 90s.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it :) I briefly played this game for the first time in the early 90's, in the movie theater arcade. Shortly after that, I got it for SNES, and have since been a lifelong Street Fighter fan/player.
You should, though, your covers are EXCELLENT. I just went through your SF2 Playlist and I haven't been this impressed or had this much fun since I discovered Malcom Robinson (well wishes wherever you are.)
If you're doing the New Challengers, at least you'll have the Hospicio Cabañas in Guadalajara, Jalisco for T. Hawk's, Cammy's is somewhere in England but it's unspecified, same for Deejay's. Fei Long's is a mansion with a garden that has been demolished already, the Tiger Balm Garden, but hey, you could find footage from it like the 70's Nugget, right?
I will be doing the music for the New Challengers, but most likely not in the same format as this video. It was pretty expensive to get the licenses for all the footage, and since this video didn't do very well, I don't think it was worth it. If the channel grows a lot, I will consider doing the New Challengers in the same format as this video, but as of right now, I don't plan on it.
YES haha, when I found that Golden Nugget footage, I was so excited. I got the footage from Periscope Films, LLC. And yeah, it's really a shame how the Nugget looks now. Modern design and architecture is mostly always hideous compared to the way it used to be.
Lol, nobody has ever smoked near that SNES. I've had it for 30 years. It looks that way because of a fire retardant that Nintendo added to the plastic, which causes it to yellow over time. Look it up
@@VoxburghRecordings Really? LOLLOL! I seriously didnt know that. I used to make jokes about the SNES & NES are built like tanks and can survive a nuclear holocaust. I guess i wasnt far from the truth. 😄

I've always pointed the following cities as the hosts of each SF2 characters: Ryu 🇯🇵: Hiroshima E. Honda 🇯🇵: Tokyo Chun Li 🇨🇳: Beijing Ken 🇺🇸: New York (although some placed his stage at Chicago or San Francisco, I think NY is perfect haha) Guile 🇺🇸: Denver (home of the US Air Force Academy) Blanka 🇧🇷: Manaus Zangief 🇷🇺: probably Nizhnii Novgorod or Ekaterinburg Dhalsim 🇮🇳: New Delhi Balrog 🇺🇸: Las Vegas obviously! hahaha Vega 🇪🇦: Barcelona Sagat 🇹🇭: Ayutthaya, near Bangkok M. Bison: I'm gonna put a little bit of my perception. I'd put him as Cambodian 🇰🇭, as this country is pointed in the game and at that time they suffered a strong communist dictatorship, so, his city should be Phnom Penh Greetings from Perú 🇵🇪. Out of curiosity, since there was so much attention to detail in this video (great job playing btw), why show SNES visuals when clearly doing the (superior) CPS1 version of the soundtrack whose instruments sound nothing like the SNES version and is often not even in the same pitch?
Thanks for the compliment. It's funny though, because I'm not very familiar with the CPS1 version of the game. I grew up with the SNES version, so that was my point of reference when recording these songs. If you think it sounds like the CPS1 version, it's just by coincidence haha!
Man wonder what chemical effect caused some SNES consoles to turn that tobacco color ??? its no joke a friend back in the 1990s bought a new one and it was discolored like that when he first opened it 😮😢😮
I did not like your interpretation of Ken's theme. I think the melody was intended to be played on an electric guitar or a synth guitar. Or possibly a keytar.

Because it's against the rules of the internet for a creator to share their own content anywhere (unless it's artwork), but thank you.

Ken's stage is take directly from a movie called Hard Times from 1975.
using the russian synth for zangief was an unexpected touch
