You have fuel related issues, Check first the fuel priming pumps pressure, hang your fuel pressure gauge, start the engine check fuel pressure the fuel pressure during engine running, Make sure you should have specific fuel pressure no any fuel pressure drop
If your fuel priming pump is faulty, sign of faulty fuel pump is overheating, if the fuel pump is overheating they leave the functions, check and notice make sure no overheating
If that is not a problem of fuel pump, check the common rail pressure regulator sensor, power and ground and signal , And check also injectors if you have any each injector faulty , leak, stuck open that's means your rail pressure going to drop cause engine stalls
Thank you for reply. It's a mahindra 2.2 mhawk. Still, why would it run start so easily though? My manual prime pump seems to not suck well, and stays soft. While driving under load engine will cut, ignition off and on while still moving will start eng again immediately.

Why would a common rail diesel engine not start, even though starter turns engine efficient and fast enough, but it will run start in less than 2m.
