Glad you enjoyed that - I strive to make sure to include the latest cards to make sure my builds are as up to date as possible on release (though sadly I couldn't include accurate pricing for the Crimson Vow cards since its still pretty volatile until pre-release hits properly).
YES! Looking forward to building this down the road. Need to finish my Zada deck first... I hope your channel continues to grow. This is exactly the EDH content I want to watch. Had to vote for Runo. Edit: I really appreciate that you pronounce the names of all the cards correctly.
Glad you enjoyed the build and thanks for the encouragement & support! I try my best to get the names right but man sometimes its quite difficult to get them down properly even on multiple takes... Thankfully I haven't made a deck for Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar yet....
Solid deck list, my version's greatest weakness is probably card draw. I think I need to make the switch over to clues after seeing this.Definitely ballsy only running 35 lands though.
Glad you enjoyed the build! 35 Lands worked well enough in testing without hurting the decks consistency, but feel free to bump it up for 36 if you feel like its too low.
Awesome video! Kyler was my first edh deck when I began the format. Although he has since been dismantled he found a spot in my Angus Mackenzie human shenanigans deck!
Fair enough - there are a LOT of human tribal commander, so you certainly have your pick for one that fits your playstyle (but I can't say that I would enjoy playing against a human turbo fog build with Angus leading it....).
Great build as always Sir Grazzet. I hope the channel keeps growing and expanding. Thanks for the shout-out, we will keep supporting this excellent content in any way we can. Cheers!
No worries and thanks for supporting the channel! With the support from folks like you and our other subs I'm sure that the channel will keep growing and entertaining people for some time. I may not be Mitch but so long as at least 1 person enjoys my builds then it is all worth it!
@@GrazzetMTG It's my pleasure, i personally like very much these brews, and I look forward for more commanders, new videos and series ideas. Sure, you ain't no Mitch, but you are Grazzet, wich is potentially even better; your videos have an orderly quality and your way to present them is very appealing to people with a need for more structured focus, like me. I hope you can come through with the potential of this channel, and i assure you that there is potential aplenty. Cheers
It's been a long time since I built a deck designed by someone else, but this list looks legit as fuck. You are also crazy entertaining and do a great job breaking everything down. Extremely well done sir!
Hey Grazzet. Love the deck build. I'm planning on upgrading my precon into this deck. It would be nice if in the future you included a full decklist in the description or maybe even just a link to the deck list. Thanks so much! Loved the way you explain the reasoning behind everything. Haven't considered clues for those reasons before. Thanks so much!
Glad you enjoyed the build! I always include a link to the decklist in the description of each of my build (though you may need to expand it to see it as its near the bottom) - but here it is for you - www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4426341#paper
@GrazzetMTG If you ever decide to do a Patreon, I will 100% be joining. I've had to sell alot of my collection in recent months and your decks have allowed me to build something fun and inexpensive to play with. Thanks alot!
Thanks for your interest! Honestly, I think I may just stick to Buymeacoffee for now since its low commitment for both myself and anyone interested in helping out the channel. I would love to be able to offer membership stuff but IRL duties sadly would make this very difficult (and would likely burn me our in all honesty). Once this channel gets bigger though, that may change....
Glad you enjoyed the build! I have tried to make Mardu humans work the way I want them to for so long.... I just never seems to work out for me. Anyway, looks like Runo is ahead in the polls so you may just get your wish for a Sea Monster themed deck soon!
Hey Grazzet! Recently subscribed to your channel, and I’ve got to say man, great builds 👍🏻 I’d like to suggest adding Hardened Scales to the deck, It provides value and acceleration to counters generation.
Glad to hear that you have been enjoying the content! Hardened Scales would certainly make a good addition to effectively double the speed of Kylers growth as our other humans come into play but sadly was out of budget with it $10 price tag. Still, it would make a great upgrade if you already have one or don't mind going over budget to add it in.
While not a human I think Toski would be a very strong addition to this deck. Humans are looking to go wide and Toski can help you refill your hand fast so you have the resources to rebuild from a board wipe if needed.
Runo is certainly a good Sea Monster commander to be sure and I'm excited to have the chance to build him myself! We'll just have to see if he makes the cut.
@@GrazzetMTG It just makes the list even better! Regardless, I voted for Runo. I'm already getting a decklist of my own together for him and I'd love to see what you come up with.
between this guy, leinore and gw katilda im really torn who should i built around. This guy is a growing anthem, katilda is a lot of mana, leinore is card advantage. but i really like the clue subtheme in the deck, tamiyo's journal is a cool card 🥰
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Honestly they are all fun commanders to build around in different ways depending on what you want to do. If you want big numbers - Kyler is your man. Big mana - Katilda's got you covered. +1/+1 Counter and coven enabling - Leinore can get that done. Can't go wrong with any of them.
Hey, just got this deck and im excited to play it! Question though, i see you added upgrades at the end of the video. Do you have some cards in mind that you would remove in place of them? Thanks!
I would say Arcus Acolyte, Contortionist Troupe, and Moorland Rescuer would be a good place to start for creature upgrades and Valorous Stance, The First Iroan Games, and Ruinous Intrusion for non-creature spells. Hope that helps and I hope you have fun with the build!
Amazing video as always! I can already imagine Kyler going full "I am tired of these mother****in monsters on this mother****in plane" as I test out the potency of this build. Good job! My vote goes for Runo, Eldritch Thief of Votes, because let's face it, he will win the voting by a landslide (seaslide? oceanslide?). But hey, at least we can get more Cthulhu Fhtagn jokes while I worship Пшющиячъцльб. Day 106 if waiting for Grazzet's face reveal. What exactly is your way of making Deck Techs? Do you playtest the decks with other people, or via some other method?
Glad you enjoyed it (Sorry for the late response - looks like this never showed up on my post notifications). As doe deck building - I like to follow the formula of 10(ish) sources of ramp, card draw, & single target removal and around 3(ish) boardwipes - then around 30+ cards that follow the decks gameplan. Regarding testing, I to that through TTS with friends.
There is actually a fair amount of the deck in the precon and if you want more value, I would advise getting the precon and subbing in the cards afterwards - but it may actually be cheaper to just buy the cards if you just want the deck.
Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you. If you want to go with more traditional draw, Augur of Autumn and Realmwalker are both solid "humans" that let us cast other humans from the top and Laid to Rest and Shamanic Revelation work well with our large creature base, making them all good options to replace the clue generating sources in this build.

Doubling season does work here, parallel lives too. If proxys are not taboo where you play, could get pretty nutty.

I think The Ozolith could be a great (if pricy) addition to this deck, with all this floating +1/+1 on board!
I agree - It would make a great way to get those counters back on Kyler if he were to be removed one we get him back onboard!

The best human tribal lord indeed.
I mean, if you want you're humans to get big, Big, BIG then Kyler is certainly your man, no doubt!
since my name is kyler time to do this thang
Gotta give it to Runo. Doesn't need to be specifically sea monsters tribal, but that definitely helps
Runo is certainly a good Sea Monster commander to be sure and I'm excited to have the chance to build him myself! We'll just have to see if he makes the cut.
8:16 Cathar Commando is a 2 cmc, this deck is leaner and meaner than advertised!
