Those 2 are probably the most skilled players on tour. They delivered a game to remember full of thrills over an 82 minute period. The crowd got more than their money worth. Thank you to all who helped get the highlights to the masses.
@@arnaud78 Gawad may be the most skilled player currently. He's moving so smoothly, his racket skills are remarkable and I'd say outstanding among top players. Only Ramy is/was comparable in terms of skill level and natural talent. But skill/talent is not everything, that's why Gawad isn't no.1. P.S. Forgot also Hesham with his extraordinary technique, natural skill and incredible shots.
@@Sedge86 Not having watched the match, all I can say is my hope for squash is generally more bias for the incoming striker (versus the player blocking, crowding, etc.). In other words, for many of the no let’s given, I disagree and often believe a let or stroke is warranted. Recovery movement off the shot should never be at the expense of unencumbered access.
@@Themethodmix while I agree, they're trying to stop unnecessary let calls where minimal interference can be played through. At the end of the day eyes on the sport pay the bills and nobody wants to see let call after let call unfortunately.
Bad commentating. Again (esp from Joey B). He needs to understand that (i) he is not doing his job, (ii) he stopped being funny quite some time ago, and that (ii) he is doing a disservice to the sport, one full of beautiful subtleties.

They are definitely not the most skilled, otherwise they would be ranked at #1 and #2. Certainly some of the most entertaining players on tour though.

2 of my favourite players. Sad to see either lose.
The level of skill and natural talent on that court are just off the charts.
Gawad had to use all his heavy artillery and experience against Rodríguez.
Great to see the clean squash from these two legends.
Clean squash lol you mustn't have watched the match. It was scrappy as with a hundred let calls. The ref didn't have a clue
@@Sedge86 I only watched the highlights:)
@@Themethodmix copy that. Yes unfortunately lots and lots of terrible calls

Bummer for Rodriguez he was playing some bloody nice squash. Close stuff. Not many can challenge Gawad like that, he would have been worrying!
If I hear Joey Barrington talk about minerals one more time ... 😅
We need more minerals

one awesome thing about squashtv is the consistency in video quality. doesn't matter if you select 480p or 1080p50, it remains the same... so cool
Fantastic squash!
Just love watching Gawad but both these players strike the ball so crisply and accurately! Very good match.
MR's shot changes angle changes retrievals were unbelievable
this is the most entertaining squash game i have ever seen.
👏👏👏👏 to one of my favourites. Love watching Gawad play.
They gonna feel that in the morning
so nice to watch them 👍
Rodriguez was everywhere, what a match. Well done Gawad.
Congratulations Goead

Terrific fight from Rodriguez. His lobs have become a beautiful part of his game. Also Joey's reaction to Gawad at 2:58 spoke for all of us
We hope Rodriguez keep playing squash to deleite us. Thanks both!
crazy good squash.
Very special squash
Good match
Don't be overjoyed until the ❤❤❤❤❤
end😂😂😂
To bad these two won't be in for the Olympics. They're a great pair to watch
Miguel is one of those guys that plays you wooshy.
Very entertaining when Rodriguez switches to CLOWN 🤡 mode 👍🏻
That left hand grab....if it was not deliberate, then the only logical conclusion must be that bonmalais made a false accusation...
Discoball when?
Does this sport have aardvarks in it?
Its disaster with this ref ! Its horrible in fifth game

Don't forget brushing your hair after each hit. Even it means doing a trash, Miguel

Maybe focus on your Roman numeral skills a little more mate, rather than Joey's commentary?
Him and parky and the regulars are the best. Get over yourself.
I don't think there was anything wrong with his commentary. Infact it was magnificent as always
I think the opposite, Joey is way more entertaining then old days commentators adding a nice twist to commentary.
Agree with the other comments, Joey's commentary makes it so much more entertaining.
