Fantastic Talk sir, I really enjoy the simplicity with which you are able to communicate these Ideas. I do worry that in some TRADOC schoolhouses that this level of training for future battles are not being taught. I know my instruction on MDMP was only a few hours and that a lot of my peers struggled to even come up with the basic analysis that occurred in Airland Battle days. With curriculum obviously so far behind (I see talks on Multi-domain battle going back over a year now), how are we going to get Junior Leaders up to speed and practiced on these more advanced concepts?
5 years on, MDO is really a division level function with some aspects applying to the brigade. Other than general knowledge on overall strategy and new formations abilities schoolhouses do not have to change much. What needs to change is introducing cross domain training in course POIs. In other words, teaching infantrymen in ALC/SLC the importance of EW and how it can kill them or help them (or any other countless examples). But that's not going to happen because GASP! it's not an MOS critical task so we are going to charlie mike and nothing is going to change.
General Ulysses work in different supply and infantry thats why he was good general in civil war grant general
Why is artillery outdated and Stryker vehicles army generals dereliction of duty
A general should learn logistics and infantry and armor r and artillery than put it all together
Due pirates have mach9 hypersonic bombers
What solution for one million drones on battle field
