Some Chinese people called her out for it( because China thinks it owns Taiwan) and caused political drama.The Taiwanese president even came out to support her. She was then forced to apologize when she did nothing wrong. But anyways, she was only 16 when this happened and it really affected her because afterwards she seemed scared of doing or saying the wrong thing so she's introverted and quite.
