Because they were so isolated, nobody could guess their demise. Not sure how and why. However I have gone to that place and checked with couple of chai walas around. They said that the story got so viral, lot of teenagers come down even today to investigate. Now that home after being abandoned for years is bought by a local politician (maybe for lesser price, don't quote me or come for me) and no hauntings reported post the occupancy.

Also the last board exam one I genuinely feel like the girl doing all those things on her own due to exam pressure and anxiety. There is no way a black mark appear out of nowhere and also she knew about the marks. That's why she asked the maid to remove everything before cleaning.
