Great discussion as always, guys. I am a 76 year old American engineer living and working in Kherson throughout the full scale invasion. We are continually getting more resilient to the artillery, rocket and drone attacks. There is more money coming in locally; the military, both Ukrainian and the many foreign soldiers here, some hard core U.S. Marines and Army Ranger recon guys, are getting better with ever increasingly effective weapons and tactics. I am looking forward to the inevitable river crossing, maybe as early as next spring. I am not uncomfortable with this war. My Ameican ancestors fought in the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, Civil War, WWI and WWII so this one is not that bad by comparison. I am really looking forward to the fight back to the 1991 borders. Europe is getting geared up, Russia is sinking, the Poles, Finns, Baltics, Sweden, Denmark are really stepping up big time. Recruitment in Ukraine is finally getting into gear, strategy and tactics are modernizing. We got AI integrated into our drones here in Kherson. And I will make a lot of money rebuilding Ukraine's infrastructure after we win the war. For me, life is good and very promising; with or without Trump. Have a nice artillery free day. (lol)

Jake knew democrats took sanctions off Iran and Biden chose not to send weapons to Ukraine they republicans agreed on. He was hiding those facts and then wonder why trump won.
Hey Jake quick question, Great interview as always! Was wondering bc I’m looking to get onboard hopefully, How many NGOs do you work for? Are you paid directly by the NGO or the MIC or United Aid and Logistics Foundation? Also any recommendations which NGO/CIA front I should apply to volunteer to? Also my research indicates all NGOs bank with Bank Privat which is the Bank owned by Ihor Koylomoyski, the guy who made Zelenskyy famous and created the TV show that rocketed Zelenskyy to fame fortune and the Presidency! Is that just a crazy wild unbelievable Cohencidence or what??
Agreed, I consider Pyotr to be a European. It's tough for Pytor, he's between a rock and a hard place, Brexiters don't want Europe, and his Russian ancestry means that on the other side of the continent, Russia is anti-European and also has been disowned by Europe.
Except there's still far too many with siege mentality islander isolationist mindset, imperialists, ultra nationalists, and useful idiots with low political and media literacy.
Jake Broe rocked on Pierce Morgan Uncensored yesterday. He was triple teamed, but held his own. The book peddling idiot in the 3rd window was a buffoon.
Mr Jake, I saw your panel on Piers Morgan and I was shocked at the rude and abominable behavior of the panelist with the beard. I just don't understand how an educated person could be so bereft of simple manners. I thought you did well to keep your cool during his provocations. Your arguments were well researched, and presented with clarity. Keep up the good work!!!
The problem with Jake Broe is that instead of arguing the real geopolitical merits of defeating Russia, he creates a nonsensical caricature of Russia/Putin that annoys anyone with a brain. For Jake, it's always 1939, and if we don't defeat Putin in Crimea he will be marching on Paris next week.
Croat here. Joining the EU, Schengen and Eurozone is the best thing to have happened to us since Napoleon. It is true that we are being priced out by rich westerners buying sea-front properties, but they bring € and we are developing economically. Everyone that wants a job can get a local job (underpaid) or they can go West and get a well paid job. In any case, currently life is FAR better than what we had before joining the EU - corrupt local sheriffs, crap economy and no perspective for a better future. At least now if we don’t want to tolerate the local corrupt sheriffs we can vote with our feet and leave. God bless the EU and most of all God bless Laura Kövesi.
I remember the impact of EU membership on Spain - in 1968 I lived there for a summer - there were no tractors in the town where we lived - I watched oxen being shod and harvest being a manual task. Two years later we returned - after EEC accession - all the farmers had little tractors and the farrier had gone!
So true, Jake, Croatia is such a beautiful country - and their food - my goodness - it is beyond heavenly. All made from basis; so simple - yet so exquisite and tastefull. I have had my absolutely best fish and seafood meals in Croatia. And the Croatian nature, views, and historical landmarks are gorgeous.
I have been going on since 2022, saying almost the same as Jake does at 7:00 into the interview. We need to get spending. I live in Denmark, spending on defence is up, but I'd want us to ramp it up per capita, to a level like Poland. It can be done and it is appropriate to do so.
Of course UK is a part of Europe despite brexit. UK is a strong allied and trade partner to EU and the remaining European countries. UK takes part in numerous European as well as global projects and meetings on climate, security, diplomacy, economy, trade, policy development etc. Many greetings from Denmark
Norway, adjacent to the North Atlantic, is also an important part of Europe's defence as member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Luckily, we are not a member of THE EU CIRCUS full of clowns (without stating names). Norway was one of the founding members of NATO, and has been an integral part and part of the origin of the Northern European culture for thousands of years. So stop making an equal sign between EU and Europe! It's far from the same.
This is an important point that I think is missed in the whole Brexit discussion.. For people in the Leave camp, the viewpoint was; either leave the EU and be independent, or remain and stay part of the EU trade block. And even for Remainers, there was the feeling that, "if we leave, we'll be on our own, in the cold, without the trading partners we've relied on for half a century". The middle ground reality is, the UK is still trading with the same block they have been and were once a part of, just without the benefit of true free trade and freedom of movement. There was no miracle Vietnam, Australia, or Brazil answer to source imports and exports as a replacement for EU trade partners. No, almost all previous trade relationships with EU countries will stay as the status quo, just with the UK at an inherent disadvantage. All this isn't a new revelation, James O'Brien has been saying this for years, but it's now undeniable. This is the reality of Brexit... less favorable trade relationships in exchange for, theoretically, less brown people coming into the country. But even that hasn't come to fruition, on account of the channel being, literally, a swimmable distance.
@@eirikraude854 If you do not want to profit from the close relations you are having with the EU anymore, let us know Norway. You might find other partners further east :)...
@@ElfisheryInteresting post, thank you. Its relevant here to note that the individual joining of the common market for the uk in 1974 was just that, to the general public ! A common trade market. But why did Russian TV put out the nude photos of Melania the day after Trump was elected ...I think it was.....the height of rudeness, disrespect...and a complete "up yours Delors"...(you are both too young to remember that of course"). It shows the true pettiness, the idiocy, of Putin and his cohorts.
It is not just simple pettiness, it is a signal to Donald Trump that he owns him. Donald Trump has not responded at all. He’s afraid of Putin and Putin is coming back to cash in. Ukraine will tell us exactly what the deal is.
It's a telling on itself by Russia. Combined with Russia's boast in an open, threatening letter by Putin's second in command that Russia secured the election for trump after the campaign was over, it's an indication that Russia had its hand in stealing the election. The question is, how???
Europe needs to stand strong and not rely on USA. The USA are becoming increasingly fickle and self absorbed. A strong Europe and NATO without America.❤
You are both among my top favourite youtubers! Together with Anders Puck Nielsen, Vlad Vexler, Silicon Curtain and The Telegraphs daily podcast "Ukraine: The Latest", you are my constant information sources on the Ukraine war, which is very important indeed for me, living in Sweden.
Pyotr Kurzin is largely unbiased. The rest of your list are just anti-Russian propagandists. I listen to them only to laugh at some of their more absurd claims. The Telegraph at least gives some useful information if you ignore the nonstop emotional stuff and claims of meatwave assaults. "The real is rational".
Game theory professor William Spaniel I also think is a must on youtube. Perun is also excellent - and he very early on pointed out that Ukraine would not loose, given ample western support, because Russia simply can not match a willing west. For me as a non-military man, he provides an unusual professional view on military economics and procurement. The Yale lecture series on Ukraine, by professor Timothy Snyder is very interesting. It was helpful to me at the beginning of the war, to get a better grasp of Ukraine as a country. I also suspect he has more inside knowlidge at government level in Ukraine, than he lets on.
To all the Brits. To err is human. You are welcome to rejoin the EU 😀. We in Europe must unite and work together. Jake is right. We cannot and should not count any longer on America.
What ever are my feelings about the UK leaving the EU were (it was close but at the end of the day it was democratic). My feeling regarding the way the EU has reacted to us leaving, is they have gone out of their way to push the UK away and tried to make life more difficult for the people of the UK. That’s their prerogative. While I see the EU countries as our neighbours, I am losing any love I had for the EU as an institution. So thank you, but I will wait and see how things turn out.
Flip-flopping isn't always a bad thing. Brexit is a great example of how stupid it is to hold a referendum on a highly important issue with a population who doesn't even know the very basics of what the EU even is.
@@benjones4365Nothing of what you accuse the EU happend. The EU was even giving lot of leeway to soften the economic blow. The UK in the end gets treated like it wanted by its signed agreements, and gets treated as any other non-EU country like Canada or Brazil. It is a gross oversimplification to say that European nations cut their defense spending purely because they expected the United States to defend them in a war. While reliance on the U.S. for defense, especially during the Cold War, is a factor, the reality is more complex and involves a combination of historical, economic, political, and strategic reasons. Here's why: *1. Historical Context:* After World War II, many European nations - unlike the United States - were economically devastated and focused on reconstruction rather than military expansion. The formation of NATO (1949) placed the United States as the cornerstone of collective defense, but European countries also contributed to NATO and rebuilt their military capabilities over time. *2. Economic and Social Priorities:* Post-war European nations, particularly in Western Europe, shifted their focus to welfare states, social services, and economic development. Defense budgets were reduced in favor of education, healthcare, and infrastructure. The 1950s-1970s economic boom in Europe reinforced the preference for social investments over high military expenditures. *3. The U.S. Security Umbrella:* The U.S. commitment to Europe, symbolized by NATO's Article 5 (collective defense), did allow European nations to allocate fewer resources to defense than they might have otherwise. The presence of U.S. forces and nuclear weapons on European soil reduced the perceived need for large, independent European militaries. *4. Cold War Dynamics:* During the Cold War, Europe’s defense strategy was shaped by the division of labor within NATO. The U.S. was responsible for nuclear deterrence and rapid reaction forces, while European nations focused on conventional forces and territorial defense. *5. Post-Cold War "Peace Dividend":* After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many European nations believed the threat of a large-scale war had diminished. Defense budgets were cut to reap the "peace dividend" and redirect funds toward domestic priorities. U.S. administrations at the time encouraged this belief, often reducing their own troop levels in Europe. *6. Strategic Calculations and Military Doctrine:* Smaller European nations, in particular, concluded that pooling resources through NATO or the EU would be more effective than maintaining large, independent military forces. Collective security frameworks like NATO and, later, the European Common Security and Defence Policy reinforced the idea that defense was a shared responsibility.
Croat here... Believe me when I say it that the Croatia has blossomed since we've joined the EU.. Sure,m there's a certain percentage of isolationists with an anti EU sentiment, but we're strongly pro EU in general..
The E.U. has 27 or 28 Member States, with an E.U. population of 450 millions. 100 million more than the U.S. These Countries have some of the most sophisticated Armies, Navies, Airforces in the World. Including non E.U. Member States Europe has 44 Countries altogether, total population, 742.3 million. Most also with modern sophisticated Military. NATO has 32 Member States. The U.N. has 190 'Friendly' Member States. These Countries provide far more World Security combined than the U.S. could on its own. The fact is that the U.S. needs these States and organisations to help protect if from aggression more than they need the U.S.
Thats true but we’re not a single unified country capable of unilateral coordination the way the us is. And though some of us want to become one, I’m not sure how realistic that is. We could at least have a European army
German here. I think your analysis is spot on, Jake. And the far rights really are a challenge, plus about one third of Germany grew up in a socialist/pro-Russian environment.
From the moment the UK (foolishly) voted to leavre the EU in June 2016, Brexit's right-wing backpackers insisted that new trading arrangements between the UK and the EU could be agreed in an afternoon. _An afternoon?_ The UK did not leave the EU until three and a half years later on 31 January 2020 - the exact same day the very first instance of COVID-19 was recorded in the country.
Canadian here. I completely agree with Jake that the US is no longer a reliable security partner and it will take decades for outsiders to regain whatever trust they once had in the country. European defense is now (as it should be) a matter for Europe to attend to. Hopefully with a change of government in Germany early in the new year, at least the eastern/northern-front European countries will be prepared to be more aggressive towards Russia. To my mind, this should include not only more active military engagement in Ukraine but possibly also action to neutralize the threats posed by Belarus, Kaliningrad and Transdniestra. If anyone starts pushing for a "DMZ" in Ukraine, European countries should push for a much more extensive cordon sanitaire that includes ALL of these territories. For what it's worth, I'd like to think - particularly with the size of our population with Ukrainian roots - that the next Canadian government (under the Conservatives by no later than the end of 2025) will offer much more military support than our disgracefully weak current government has been willing and able to provide. But our geography (and economic integration) means that our primary preoccupation at the start of Trump's next mandate will be trade with the US. It's not clear that this will constrain our stance on security issues (though it's possible).
One thing nobody talks about Germany is they sacrificed their whole economy for the Ukraine cause. By not accepting cheap russian gas, german industry is struggling mightily. You can make the argument that they shouldn't have become so dependant on russia but they ultimately did the right thing.
A German with French and Asian blood here. I have been telling to my German, French (and also Asian) relatives and friends for a while now, that Trump makes Europe great again. From the start of this talk they called me crazy, but gradually they share my view. Europe, especially the EU has been being so compliant and loyal to America's wishes for all those years, but unfortunately this compliance and this loyalty havem't been appreciated. It is now yes a relief to see Europe waking up, ameliorating her power, enhancing her energy, making herself great again. But one thing we have to, always and I mean always, keep in our hearts is that America had helped Europe to eliminate some dangerous tyrants to make Europe a beautiful place to live in before this madman pushed Europe aside. By pushing Europe aside he intentionally makes Europe great again. But once we gets great again we should still not walk away from America in case America needs Europe to eliminate her own tyrant. Greetings
Well said. As an American, I agree. We will all have to defeat both of these tyrants over the next decade. The new american DICKtator will never leave office, he'll never allow another election in america. His base has no idea what's coming. But, a lot of us in america know full well what the useful idiots of america just elected. Good men will, as always, have to fight to defeat tyranny. We are with you.
The reason why we aren't defending you guys anymore is because we don't see a reason to defend Europeans when they hate us. In the last few decades anti-American sentiment has exploded in Europe. Good news for you though, the US has widened the gdp gap between the US and EU to almost 10 trillion dollars. I bet the prospects will look even better when you excommunicate us, we never get the credit for making modern Europe anyways.
Go and watch Trump's first UN address as US President - the Germans were acting like spoiled children, mocking and laughing at him. He told them to stop funding Russia and take their own defence seriously, and they were actually offended by that (how dare he demand we stop funding the enemy and build defensive capabilities worth speaking of). I don't see them laughing now. Europe cannot make itself great again when Europe isn't able or willing to produce enough to even help Ukraine sufficiently (let alone defend all of Europe if it actually came under direct threat) - as Zelensky said, without American support, they would lose (and the same would apply to Europe if Europe was attacked - remember Lybia? Europe was the one that wanted that intervention, but ran out of ammo in DAYS. Long before Ukraine even was an issue). Europe now had 3 years to prepare, and is still not able and/or willing to send sufficient aid to help Ukraine actually advance (or to defend itself if need be). Europe is a joke, and needs to stop being naive and ridiculous. To think Europe could save America when Europe can't even defend itself (or an ally like Ukraine) is delusional. Even IF Europe had the leadership to become a strong partner to America (which it doesn't), it would take decades to reverse all the cutbacks that have decimated European capabilities to defend even just itself, let alone others. Oh and btw, Trump is not a tyrant - Biden was the one who attempted to prosecute his political opponents (in a trial even Democrat fmr. NY Governor Cuomo said "would never have been initiated against anyone else" because the charges were ridiculous and various precedents & legal traditions were ignored), was allegedly elected with far more votes than any other President (incl. Obama) during a "pandemic" (after Social Media censored all the stories that could hurt him), and enabled dictators around the world to do as they please by appeasing them. It was under Democrat rule that Ukraine got attacked twice (and it was Joe Biden who, under orders from Jake Sullivan, told the Ukrainians to stop when they had 40k Russians surrounded in late 2022, and had to let them escape so they could build up their defences because Sullivan feared a Russian collapse more than wasting countless lives in a brutal stalemate). Then, the next year, Democrats blamed Ukraine for not having thrown all their resources at the defences Russia had a year to build up, which would have been a total catastrophe as they had no air support - Democrats wanted them to use NATO tactics without their most fundamental basis, i.e. air superiority. Watch Sullivan's recent interview.). If you scrap your military and dissolve countless units (like Europe did), you cannot just recreate them over night. Same applies to manufacturing of military equipment.
Immigration causes GDP to increase, but you have to look at GDP per capita, which is actually decreasing in the UK, leading to a lowered standard of living.
If Europeans buy property at prices that are cheap for them then it is because Croats are selling at prices that are high to them. You can't eat the cake and keep it. This fallacy of an argument is repeated so often. But sure the cost of living will adjust upwards.
Note: any country can leave NATO by providing one year formal notice. While the USA is an important part of NATO, I don't think Trump can simply let Russia attack whoever doesn't pay their dues. I also have to think that the USA can be, errmmm, "convinced" to cooperate. As an out-there idea, imagine if Europe threatened to impose a 50% markup on luxury automobiles.
Please put the date of the actual interview... This war is moving so fast, by the time people are getting their content out, its not current!! Fine to listen retrospectively ..but it is helpful to the viewer. Thank you.
Nobody will vote for declining. That is the reason Europe is not acting like one. There are countries in the east that are in the process of rising, they have another view on the big picture as the west of Europe. In the west the direction is downhill. They will never give up their standards with a smile on the face. To act like a union, we have to be the same. And we aren't there yet. And I as a German feel uncomfortable about the decline of my nation. But in the end, we as normal inhabitants, are helpless.
Thank you both for a great interview. Its only a matter of time before the giant egos of frump and elon clash. Then, like the children they are, will throw temper tantrums at our expense.
Hi there guys, Croatia is not the only country where locals have been priced out town. By over immigration, our service providers can’t afford to live in the city, where we need them to serve.you get a housing crisis, welcome to 🇦🇺
I dunno about immigration in Tassie, but letting a massive number of houses become AirB&Bs, & the government throwing piles of cash at a football stadium but spending very little on housing, are definitely part of why there are homeless people begging in the street & sleeping rough in the city, which I've never seen in my entire life. And the rest: nowhere to rent or buy, & it costs a bomb.

The UK has been over populated since the 70's, House prices are ridiculous, they have built on flood plains, not uprated the drainage system, everything is clogged. Roads everywhere, no farmland, not enough home grown food. Just a few examples of problems not talked about.
Thank you for an interesting interview with an intelligent and optimistic podcaster in Jake. I appreciate his well thought out answers and his outstanding knowledge of history.
anti-immigration, at least in USA, is fear of displacement. Many have grown up in places in which white people have bee replaced by non-wqhites or Hispanics. I would nver vote Trump but I grew up in a displaced neighborhood. A place wghere white families, like mine, were forced to move even though we were perfectrly willing to live with minority neighbors. Why move? Landlords deliberately let the buildings deteriorate. Why? Higher rents obtainable from minority families, including those on welfare assistance with rent vouchers. Part of the fear of displacement is the belief, not paranoid, that elites like the national rental property buyers headquarted in NYC will jack up rents that minorities are willing to pay. Plus undocumented immigrants will not complain about deteriorated conditions for fear of being arrested.
. . . what I like most in this discussion is that both of you mutually are showing much respect towards each other AND you both are listening and trying to understand what the other person has to say and want's to convey - this is how democracy works and the only way to win the war against terrorism and autocracy !!!
@@theglobalgambit absolutely do that, but please do your best to represent the pros and cons of both views without ridiculing one side or the other. @@theglobalgambitYes, and please show us where the EU has published its inmigration plans: 1. what and how many jobs in the EU need to be filled 2. the education plan for immigrants: language, skills, trade. Also what's the plan with the ones who don't achieve after decades. 3. How many decades or hundreds of years or generations to expect to pass until this social experiment starts to make a profit over all the money spent on it up to that point. 4. I don't think any startup would get a bank loan on goals so obscure as the mass immigration project.
As far as Russia and America go, it's time for Europeans to distance themselves from their fight and start talking defense from both of them. The need to defend against Russian aggression and the need of defense in case of US abandonment.
I don't think that will play out. If nothing else, he'll just be too old then. However, he might really try to "choose" his successor. (Nightmare would be his son - but he's too young and inexperienced.)
@thegloblgambit - I like Jake, I watch him all the time and agree with him 95% when it comes to Ukraine. However, in terms of your audience, you owe them a balanced view when it comes to internal American politics. Many Democrat analysts are saying one reason they lost was because they minimized, marginalized, and never understood the Republican factions that supported Trump. Claiming he is delusional or crazy feeds into this failed narrative. I don't think it benefits anyone to portray over half of the US population as being crazy.
Yeah, calling people crazy isn't helpful. I wouldn't have voted for him, though obviously it has nothing to do with me as an Aussie, but either way I'm not speaking publicly, like a politician or journo. I think they should at least _try_ to be professional, respectful & mature, & only make reasonable criticisms of what people actually say or do, & apply the same standards for criticism to everyone... & that _does_ sound deluded & crazy, considering the reality. It goes both ways, of course- I get all sorts of abuse for being a leftie & sometimes it's the same deal; people are wildly wrong about what I apparently believe or want, when actually we might agree on something. We could all do better at listening to people with different opinions, including me.
As a European, this would be the first time when we started rearming ourselves in order to fight a common, external enemy instead of killing one another.

I remember the impact of EU membership on Spain - in 1968 I lived there for a summer - there were no tractors in the town where we lived - I watched oxen being shod and harvest being a manual task.

What ever are my feelings about the UK leaving the EU were (it was close but at the end of the day it was democratic).
My feeling regarding the way the EU has reacted to us leaving, is they have gone out of their way to push the UK away and tried to make life more difficult for the people of the UK. It is a gross oversimplification to say that European nations cut their defense spending purely because they expected the United States to defend them in a war. While reliance on the U.S. for defense, especially during the Cold War, is a factor, the reality is more complex and involves a combination of historical, economic, political, and strategic reasons. Here's why:
*1. Historical Context:*
After World War II, many European nations - unlike the United States - were economically devastated and focused on reconstruction rather than military expansion.
The formation of NATO (1949) placed the United States as the cornerstone of collective defense, but European countries also contributed to NATO and rebuilt their military capabilities over time.
*2. Economic and Social Priorities:*
Post-war European nations, particularly in Western Europe, shifted their focus to welfare states, social services, and economic development. Defense budgets were reduced in favor of education, healthcare, and infrastructure. The 1950s-1970s economic boom in Europe reinforced the preference for social investments over high military expenditures.
*3. The U.S. Security Umbrella:*
The U.S. commitment to Europe, symbolized by NATO's Article 5 (collective defense), did allow European nations to allocate fewer resources to defense than they might have otherwise. The presence of U.S. forces and nuclear weapons on European soil reduced the perceived need for large, independent European militaries.
*4. Cold War Dynamics:*
During the Cold War, Europe’s defense strategy was shaped by the division of labor within NATO. The U.S. was responsible for nuclear deterrence and rapid reaction forces, while European nations focused on conventional forces and territorial defense.
*5. Post-Cold War "Peace Dividend":*
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many European nations believed the threat of a large-scale war had diminished. Defense budgets were cut to reap the "peace dividend" and redirect funds toward domestic priorities. U.S. administrations at the time encouraged this belief, often reducing their own troop levels in Europe.
*6. Strategic Calculations and Military Doctrine:*
Smaller European nations, in particular, concluded that pooling resources through NATO or the EU would be more effective than maintaining large, independent military forces.
The fact is that the U.S. needs these States and organisations to help protect if from aggression
more than they need the U.S.
"You can't be pro growth and anti immigration if your birthrate is below the replacement level"
VERY WELL SAID!!!
Greetings
"Make Europe dangerous again"
😅
UK needs to rejoin EU and tell US to get the hell out of our country if they leave NATO.
Greetings from Croatia! Thank you for precise description of processes here.

Jake, my friend, Brexit wouldn’t have been possible without Russia and the Internet Research Agency.
Note: any country can leave NATO by providing one year formal notice. While the USA is an important part of NATO, I don't think Trump can simply let Russia attack whoever doesn't pay their dues. I also have to think that the USA can be, errmmm, "convinced" to cooperate. As an out-there idea, imagine if Europe threatened to impose a 50% markup on luxury automobiles.

anti-immigration, at least in USA, is fear of displacement.

Too often many of the debates of various topics end up with clear ridicule of one side and championing of the other, however a person like yourself seem to be capable of delivering a nuanced and balanced approach to it which is why you should do it.
@@theglobalgambitYes, and please show us where the EU has published its inmigration plans:
1. what and how many jobs in the EU need to be filled
2. the education plan for immigrants: language, skills, trade. Also what's the plan with the ones who don't achieve after decades.
3. How many decades or hundreds of years or generations to expect to pass until this social experiment starts to make a profit over all the money spent on it up to that point.
4. Why is this not public, also why is it not public where on the above journey what percentage of immigrants are.
I don't think any startup would get a bank loan on goals so obscure as the mass immigration project.
Thanks Pyotr, it's always good to here from Jake!

Optimism, optimism, optimism!!!😊
Actually, Musk is running out of nose plugs
As far as Russia and America go, it's time for Europeans to distance themselves from their fight and start talking defense from both of them.
The need to defend against Russian aggression and the need of defense in case of US abandonment.
Trump is looking to run for a 3rd term. Like he previously said: "You will never have to worry about the vote ever again". Yikes!
I don't think that will play out. If nothing else, he'll just be too old then. However, he might really try to "choose" his successor. (Nightmare would be his son - but he's too young and inexperienced.)
The constitution says a president can only run twice
He’s definitely not gonna run again
I wonder if VP Vance will ever surrender Trumps power after the 4 years.
Could be a military coup in the US. Probably the last institution to follow the Constitution.
Stubb speaks well on the US relationship with Europe. Worth a look
Jake seems to have been consumed by the TDS bug.
As a European, this would be the first time when we started rearming ourselves in order to fight a common, external enemy instead of killing one another.
Trump will be an orange wrecking ball 😂😂😂
Great and very assuring as well as knowledgeable conversation, as so often. Thank you, Jake!
we are still european numb nuts, leaving the EU doesnt mean leave europe
Europe disagrees.
@playedout148 why is that? Is it because they are missing out on billions of our tax payers money or do you have another valid reason?
Thankyou, enjoyed the conversation between two people I always take time to listen to
Bond villain Elone muck also paid to get Vance as Vp pick, now will only have to ‘wait’ for tRump to stroke out, and Elone will have bought the Whitehouse
Thank you for having common sense remark, l truly appreciate y'all.
Enjoy the internet in America while you can. I suspect once all media and communications are state controlled, the free open internet is gone.
Little late, propaganda is embedded on all platforms
Agreed. The fascist won.
I agree. A lot of people will find their voices silenced. Others would not dare speak up lest they wind up in some prison camp somewhere without due process of law.
That is the case in Europe.
@@playedout148 No fascist won. . It's the lovers of FREE SPEECH who won.
Thanks for the excellent insights, great analysis delivered with frankness and clarity!
England not falling for Russian propaganda is because they are educated.
🇦🇺
And they are keenly aware that Russia manipulated them into voting for Brexit.
Educated? Lol, more like indoctrinated.
As long as Trump admin DONT refuse to SELL Europe weapons for defending them self..THAT WOULD BE A NIGHTMARE..but dont see that tho..maby he gonna cut defense for Ukraine, who knows??😳😲but Europe must then buy US weapons for Ukraine and our own defense, same time we HAVE TO ramp up our own production, build new plants etc.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇸🇪👍

Europe needs to be more aggressive against the Russian escalation on the Ukrainian borders and the new situation that they cannot run away from , because the outcome of the recent US election ❗️
