So, on these f250s, when the parking lights are on, the turn signals will have ghost voltage somewhere between 2-3 volts at the bulb. The led boards see voltage on the turn signal wires and get stuck with one white strip and one dim Amber strip. When I bought these lights I installed them and couldn't get the 2 white parking/ 2 Amber flash per side to work. Reading the other reviews this was a common problem. Some say to keep reversing the plugs, but you will never end up with the lights working as in the picture. I solved the problem by hot gluing a mini relay to the back of the new signals, soldering it up, and laying down another coat of protective hot glue to keep the elements out. I broke the circuit to the turn signal with the relay so that power would only be transmitted if it was 12v. I used a naic cp1-12v type c because it was what I had laying around. You can buy 5 of these for 7 bucks on eBay. Or 20 for 20. I took one of these lamps apart and noticed that they are overall higher quality and sealed better than the recon brand. I replaced my recons with these after the lenses just fell off. They use cheap super glue to combine the lens and housing. These lamps we're silicone sealed. I am very happy with the switch back feature after the modification. I feel it looks better having the amber turn signal. The modification was simple and with it the lamps beat the other aftermarket options. Also, if you are willing to do this, cut the connectors, save them somewhere, and hard wire the lamps in. After hardwiring mine, they fit perfectly into the mirror. They were a difficult fit with the bulb connectors still in line.
Scott DeMarco which wire did you do the modification to im having trouble with the white lights coming on they will come on with only ground connected on the turn signal side but as soon as the power touches they go off and did yours fit right im seeing that mine might need to be trimmed a little thanks
fidel osuna I'm having the same exact prblm. Signals are amber but when the lights hooked correctly it shuts off the white running light. I'm losing my mind with these mirror lights
Gregory Panos i fixed mine with an error free adapter option t10 i got from ijdmtoy for 10 dollars go to the web site in the search put AA1010 and its the 9.99 one and choose t10 option hope that works worked for me

fidel osuna yep. Got the set for 45$ off eBay. Seller hasn't been much help. Tells me my grounds are bad. I get the white running lights but as soon as I connect the turn signal power wire my running lights shut off.
Aren’t you supposed to screw the plastic housing back in the new light with the wires?
