In Practice Excercise Q.10, Both ( option a & c) are correct.
If Reporting verb is in Past tense then reporting speech which is in Past Perfect Continuous, it will be change in past continuous or present perfect continuous.

Ma'am in Question no 10, Option (a) is also correct bcoz present perfect continuous also changes to past perfect continuous tense.

Option a is the right one. We use 'since' in perfect or perfect continuous tense ( both present and past). 'Since' is not used with past Or present continuous tense, so only option (a) is correct. Hope it helps.

Q10- option A is correct . past continuous and present perfect continuous tenses changed into - past perfect continuous but we can't use " "since" and "for" in continuous tenses.. So option A is correct ..
