The JAP Speedway engine was developed for and came into Speedway in 1930, it reined supreme all through the years, the Tottenham factory closed in the early 60's but many riders still hung on and maintained their JAP's, I can remember quite a few still around in League Speedway in the 70's, and of course they are still raced in Vintage meetings, a truly great engine.
