Going to comment as I watch the episode as a thread: So the sideline limit, at least for how I'm seeing it, is possibly to stop people getting around the 50% silver split using swap figures such as AFFE captain america? as well as anything else coming down the pipeline such as midnight angels, betelgeuse, ect.
The mission point stall is stronger imo, I played a test team with AV4E Thanos, indigo 1, and Starro, just to grab some extra points, it ended up being a 140 - 0, it wouldve been a double loss before but 14 mission points is actually points now. It lets the more defensive mission point teams shine, the ones that couldn't win before are now able to put your opponent on the back foot. Maybe making it so every 10 full mission points becomes 100 points, but until you reach 10 itll be zero. that way you can't nickel and dime?
As for restricted, maybe its the skeptic in me but silver is also the format that heroclix for huntingtons is played in, so they probably just don't want to ban the porters outright for his own event, maybe this even pushed the start of the restricted list in the first place. Glad to see maggot and surfer here though Banning all of the swaps is annoying because I loved running the thor team up card for asgardian, it was a ton of fun. Also funny that "who would run thor" is literally the one I run Im really not a fan of a free action to remove a token and heal a figure
The issue with eternity and black lanterns vs Starro is that with the black lanterns they "heal above their starting line" while starro "changes his starting line" if you KO the BL healed Eternity, you score 100, while if you KO the starro, you will score the full 260. it's a mercy rule issue I belive. And hot take, starro isn't that crazy strong imo, i'll take him on
for the Ares argument: love the look of the marvel Ares with the guns, but he's kinda a bum by comparison to DC Ares. They both fit their respective universes, DC full of gods and cosmic busters, and marvel more of the teeth kicking in. But DC Ares from like WW80 is the best look
OMG! Now i understand MP now.
Thank you!
Ayy Gary's Gunshop lol

For invincible, I need a Cecil, he would rock
DC Ares for the win
They never should have introduced the "Mission Point" mechanic in the first place imo 🤷♂️
