  • Sophia has a new partner this season, I think from America, as far as I know, this was their debut competition together, and I'm very impressed. They scored 71.67 (41.01 31.66) to be 2nd in the FD, but stayed 3rd Overall. (Apparently they competed in America prior to this earlier in the season).

They competed at lake placid. And also do you know why they split

Oh no, have they split? How sad! I was expecting them to compete in Osaka at the JGP this week, and assumed there must be an injury when they were absent? I'm very disappointed as they looked well matched and a promising Junior couple for Britain, with a beautiful Free Dance. No, I have no idea why, but thanks for telling me. I will see if I can find their performances at Lake Placid. Really, let Ashlie & Atl be a lesson to all British icedancers. You can’t compete one season with one partner then keep changing. You need stickability with the same partner for season after season. 💕💕💕

Nope, can find nothing of them at Junior LPI or Junior Combined. No videos and names not listed in the results. But I see Sophia is on ice partner search and doesn't want to relocate from Virginia with Kiliakov & Novak. Reading her comments, it sounds like she & Anthony didn't get on very well, that's probably why they broke up? I'm going to have to keep an eye on icepartnersearch again. Frankly she'd have been a good partner for Billy WF at 5,0 foot and 18. Both British, they could be competing in the JGP now. But a couple of the names there, lovely solo dancers, had successful careers but it's unlikely to find your first partner at 20. Anyway, good luck to Sophia. 🥰

They came 3rd overall and not 2nd, and it's not their debut competition as they have already competed in the US earlier in the season. Please check your facts first before posting.

Thank you for the corrections, I've edited it now. I did say "as far as I know" it was their debut, I can't keep up with every minor competition in America. I had a busy morning making recordings, uploading, and trying to keep track of results. A simple 'thank you for the video' would be nice instead of rudeness!
