COOOOLLL, i live and work in NC but i have a nice hideaway/house in Quinwood, i was just there for 4 days a few weeks ago. I am right near the Crighton school and around Christmas they were giving kids trailer rides around the block, so many places things like that now are illegal, i consider WV the last frontier, VERY quiet there in my area.
One of my teachers from high school later became the mayor of Alderson. His name is Luther Lewallen. I once had an uncle who lived at Snowflake, which I believe is not far from Alderson.
I grew up in my early years in Alderson. What was your uncle's name. I now own the Snowflake farm. Did he live at Snowflake village? Love the area and the river.
Dated a girl who's last name is Alderson from this place. Beautiful country girl! Down to earth. She told me how nice Alderson was... I see now. Her family donated or sold property to build an all-woman's prison. She never had a McDonald's hamburger until she was 16...lol

Alderson WV is one of the towns that John Denver had in mind when he wrote his song "country roads". Love the Ford truck, wish it was mine.
