Based on my experience my wife is a student in Melbourne Australia but it's the same with any country like Canada, first, the school agencies sometimes will not tell you the struggle of being a student of the country you choose, if the place you chose is favorable to you to find jobs. they will just put you there so they can get a commission from the school. In our case, 1st month we ask some advice from the agency and never heard from them. fortunately, Melbourne is a big city and after a month we found a job, (housekeeping for wife and cleaner for me) but same rules in Canada 20 hours of work only but the hidden part is the depressing moment to find jobs are there, we Filipino knew that the job is hard but it's just a start of our journey but being student is hard, the pressure to your rent and tuition is there luckily me as husband found 2 jobs which will sustain our daily expenses and since the competition is really high we can't find a job that relates to our job experience back in the Philippines so we waited for a year to test if this process change and our job will improve. Sadly, we never get anything and crazy part if we finish the study there is no tendency that we become a permanent resident, so decided to go back to the Philippines and process a different pathway which is working in Canada or direct permanent instead of a student. This comment is not to discourage anyone who plans to do the student pathway but to tell you the reality of being a student, I know a lot of friends succeed in being a student but there are more horror stories I've heard compared to success. If you seek a student my advice is to go to the place where you know anyone who assists you like any relatives if you struggle with something you know someone who can count on at least to feel some security or you have enough money to cover everything not just for 1 year but for the whole duration of your study without the work.

Hi! There are some Facebook groups for st. Andrews rental that you can join to. But there's a big issue regarding available apartments here. But you can try to post and ask in those groups
Hi Abbie. What professions should be studied at NBCC and then it will be possible to find an employer in this province? Do you have any one you know who have studied something who have graduated and found employers?
Hello, I am mexican, your new follower of this channel. Why new Brunswick and not nova scotia? I think the question is very broad, but I'd like to know your point of view.
Hi! To be honest, I just chose NB because of NBCC's payment plan and it was the one recommended by the agency I applied to back home. But after months of living here, I started to enjoy and like New Brunswick.
Hello! I was already working in a place where I can take my practicum. What’s your program? I know that they will provide some options where you can take your practicum.
Hi Abbie, just want to know, I'm planning to enroll St. Johns NBCC, is it easy to get a part time job on that area, and my sister is in practical nursing training now, does St. Johns has also this kind of job, do they have there like home for the aged or for some caregiver works. Hope you can help me.
Hello Elvin! As far as I know, they do not have track and field competitions, or athletic teams. They have gymnasium where you can play some sports on your free time.
how much approx cost per year of university degree and if i plan and in diploma per year of accounting and finance course pls suggest college and university in new brunswick
NBCC is what I can suggest since they are a designated learning institution where you can apply for a pgwp after you finish your program. Their tuition fee is around 10-12k cad, but you can see it in their website which is nbcc.ca Hope this helps. 🙂
Hey there, I am from Nepal and I am planning to study college diploma in New Brunswick. Can I support my tution fees and monthly expenses by working there as a student?
Hello. It will depend on many factors, like how much would be your living expenses, whether you fully paid your 1yr tuition fee. And as cost of living is getting higher now, I think it will be harder esp you will only be allowed to work 20hrs a week. I suggest you to bring enough money to cover for your expenses for at least 3-4 months.
Do the landlords require any other documents or 6 months rental in advance when u only have the student permit to show and no credit history? Do u need pay tax for your earnings?
They usually require a one month deposit or a security deposit. And yes, you need to pay tax. It is going to be deducted on your salary and you need to file your taxes every year, starting Feb to April I think.
Hello. Quick question lang po, based po sa website, bakit po kaya ang dami ng subjects ng NBCC compared sa ibang colleges? Nacurious lang po talaga. Hehe. Thank you.
Hello po. Hmmm. Di ko din po sure hehe wala pa po akong idea sa ibang colleges dito. And yung nasa website naman nila, for the whole year/2 yrs na yung nandon. Each term ay 5-6 courses
Hello Yasangi! You can definitely get a position as a Retail Store Supervisor , especially if you have previous experience plus having educational background here in Canada will really help, or you have been working in that company for a few months, and depends on your performance and availability of the position. 😊
Hello, yes but I think they only hire people with a permanent status here. I am not sure about this but that is what I saw in some of the job postings. You can check job sites like Indeed.
Hello, thank you for watching! 😊 there’s more opportunities there compared here in St. Andrews. And I think it will depend on the type of job you are looking for.
