Flow state really isn't something that needs slow. It's more about him trying to look for joy in riding and not pushing himself to go big and haul ass. The key is not forcing it and not expecting anything more than enjoying the moment.

Mate you episode with Gypsy is what has motivated me to get back on the bike after 3 years off it spent a few hours today working in my trailer and last week getting 3 of the 5 bikes running , good to see you our riding again
You need to get out in the woods and just relax. Take in some scenery. Get together with some friends and just enjoy being alive. Hard to turn off the competitive fire, but maybe that can help you find some balance and another type of enjoyment. 🤙

Clearly he can ride, but getting into a different mindset can be that thing that helps find that center or reignite some passion. Keep having fun!

It really made me wish you were still in the springs, it really sucked to hear that you didn't have any kickass riding buddies to help you get in a place to find what really created the love of riding. It's a rare thing to be able to ride at that level! I haven't bought a rowing machine bc I have difficulty getting the bike time, which is priority #1. 🙂 The more experience I get the more I realize there's a bunch of us that are way too into it than normal people would justify, but I can't be ashamed. Look how awesome that was! 😆

Man I races when I was little then when the economy ate shit we made cutbacks which sucked but we were fortunate enough to be somewhat comfortable enough, just with no bikes. Getting back into it on my own dime has been a ball even though I'm slow as fuck. Don't care about racing just like riding tracks and having fun. Best wishes Hopper!

Rode canyon 10 years ago on my cr250, but I would rather ride single track out at boulders ohv mile marker 11 on carefree hwy. Get way back in there and you'll find gnarly high speed shit with natural jumps. I miss that place. Looking pretty racey though 👌

MM 14 has good single track too, takes you out behind the golf course. Good high speed technical stuff out behind the rock pit just west of boulders. I miss riding that area, in Southern Oregon now so I've got awesome single track through the woods
Slowing down to go slower.....and then he sounds like Bam Bam bouncing off the Rev limiter. U are still fast AF but u gotta get out of the desert, away from tracks and do some soul riding in the woods. Maybe road trip to Prescott, Sedona or Flagstaff for a scenic ride.

I went from MX to off road, now, headed down the adventure riding path. Exploration is fun.
