As a child growing up in Utah, I lived near the Intermountain Indian School and many LDS (Mormon) Families had Native children living with them. I found this so disturbing and wrong. It reminded me of slavery and I couldn't understand how this was able to go on. The Deer Lady episode was difficult and compelling to watch, but ultimately cathartic for me.
It was definitely a tough watch, but also very necessary, especially in this current trend of white-washing history. We need this kind of truthful storytelling more than ever. I definitely agree with you! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@BlerdForce1 Absolutely! So many people today think that race relations are bad today. Those of us who have lived for more than a few minutes know that progress is slow. I agree with you that this episode was Necessary and Important.

The Mormons stole my Ute ancestors ; they took children from Ute families in the 1800s too 💔
