Mercedes sprinter heavy ambulances here in UK have the Merc- OM642 3.0 V6, also fitted to some W211`s.. They get hammered and go up to 500.000 miles without anything going wrong. They are then sold off to the public. This engine will go up to 1 million miles no probs if looked after. My car has done 160k 🙂
