Everyone starts by chanting "Assa hongsam, everybody hongsam" 2. 1 person then points to 2 people, by saying "Assa you, you" (who this person is can be decided in any way, rock-paper-scissors, or randomly, or anything) 3. The 2 people then point to 1 person each, who then point to new people and so on, all on the beat of "assa you," and this keeps continuing till both the pointers point to the same person. 4. When the 2 people point to the same person, that person then says "Assa hongsam" and does a pose. Then everybody else repeats that pose while saying "Everybody hongsam." 5. Then the entire process repeats from Step 2 onwards, and the person who got pointed by 2 people in step 4 becomes the person to point to 2 new people while saying "Assa you, you." Eliminations/penalties happen in following cases: 1. When someone is pointed at, but they don't realise they have been pointed at and don't point to someone else. 2. When someone mistakenly assumes they have been pointed at and then continue to point to someone else. 3. The person point at by 2 people does not do the pose (maybe in case they don't realise that both people pointed at them) 4. When someone does not do the pose at the beat of "Everybody hongsam" in Step 4. I may have explained it in a very complex manner. His elimination was not related to the rules. Everyone was discreetly referring to the sponsors/advertisers but Mingyu mentioned the brand directly, probably hoping for them to notice him in particular, lol. So the members didn't allow such direct appealing to the advertisers, hence was eliminated.
