When two of them, the MC and another one, found out, they started keeping in touch after breaking up with the guy. Later on, when the guy came back to try to get back together with the MC, gifts in hand and all, MC called that other guy (in front of the chest who tried to stop him), and sure enough, the jerk had tried to get back with the other guy first. It was fun to see a story where the cheated parties were smart and stayed on their toes.

Even then many places require a waiting period (not Nevada, obviously). It's all a bit silly plot wise.

So even if every factor had been 100% in her favor, no way she could have gotten there any sooner than a full day or two after the scheduled wedding time.

Very expensive for Americans to travel abroad since we’re not close to a lot of other countries, and the US is huge compared to Europe. We’ve got a lot of different geographic right here. Beaches, skiing, huge forested national parks, big cities.

True, but even emergency passports can't be obtained on the same day they are applied for. And even if they could be, AND assuming she could get on a plane right away after getting one, it takes about 12 hours to fly to Paris, not to mention the 8 hour jump ahead in the time zone, plus the additional airport to venue transportstion that would be needed.. So even if every factor had been 100% in her favor, no way she could have gotten there any sooner than a full day or two after the scheduled wedding time.

Yeah, I would have been extremely suspicious of this woman just by reading her texts the first go around. The antagonist of this story sounds like she's a crazy stalker that invented a relationship before she acted out on her urges. Gross. She would have overstepped her boundaries even if this was a normal person looking to help out somebody that didn't have the time to do anything at all. This is something that parents might do if they have the consent of the bride and groom. The fact that she booked the wedding hall and venue... Even if we are to ignore the fact that she is a man stealing whore, that is still extremely sketchy.

If you can’t afford to travel abroad you wouldn’t need a passport. Many Americans rarely leave their state much less the country
Very expensive for Americans to travel abroad since we’re not close to a lot of other countries, and the US is huge compared to Europe. We’ve got a lot of different geographic right here. Beaches, skiing, huge forested national parks, big cities.
No passport, no plane travel. I’ve lived in around 25 states but only ever been to Canada, and I didn’t need a passport.

I'm curious to know how it is that never once in any of the discussions either of these two women had they never once included the groom to confirm the bride of his choice much less the venue. Also, who sits quiety by as their partner starts dating another person while they are still with you? Wouldn't this warrant a conversation or two with everyone involved exspecially once marriage was put on the table? None of this make any sense. Whoever wrote this storyline really did a lousy job on this one. These are the kinds of conversations you would have to have in order to plan a wedding/ life together. You need to know who is paying for what and who is marrying who right? Think next time about the details.
