Interesting video. I was wondering what the women at 3:59 were doing. I thought they might just be sweeping the open area, but then I wondered if they had been spreading some kind of food to dry in the sun, and were collecting it. You can certainly get metal roofing in my part of Canada (although I think it's often used for commercial buildings). Slate or tile, common in other parts of the world, are almost unheard of. Shingles are most common, especially for slanted roofs. For some bizarre reason, given how much rain we get, flat roofs are also common, and they're usually covered with using some kind of torch-on process. That involves strips of roofing material sealed in place with a kind of tar, melted with torches. It's a hot, noisy and smelly process that has to be done during sunny summer weather.
Interesting walk. I'd love you to do a video about trash and litter, whether or not it's collected by public services, what households do with all their trash, and the attitude to it lying in the street. If there are fines for littering and fly tipping, etc. Thanks!
Love seeing this maybe you could show us your shop or market areas. Loved just looking at this thank you. Hope you keep well and look forward to your cooking videos aswell keep up the great content.
That was a nice stroll through your village . The chickens wandering about were funny little creatures . I was surprised that the houses were so large . Are they multi generational houses ? 😊
Nothing wrong with corrugated iron roofing, I grew up in New zealand where most of the roofs were made from corrugated iron. Noisy when it rains but it keeps you dry which is all that matters.
Iv always wondered what work is like for communities around the world is like, what type of work is available. Also, do you have to pay a property tax for your home. Here if you dont pay it they will foreclose on it and kick you out. I'm sure there are other country's that have the same tax but kind of always wounded. I live in the USA and i work 60 to 70 hour weeks in a factory. I am lucky to live within a few minutes of work. Around 5 or 6 minuets. Before i moved into the city i had a 30 minute drive to work. The only other option i have if i dont want to work in the few factory's in the city is to move or drive 4 hours one way. There are other jobs but they are mostly medical or customer service jobs like fast food or big box stores. Thank you for the videos and the insights you give us.

I really enjoyed our walk through your neighborhood!
At 4:00 do you know what these two people were doing? It looks like they were collecting something?
I like your strolls around. It reminds me of Gambia. What is the district you live in 🤔
4:03 May I ask what were your neighbours doing, here, Babatunde?

Thank you for sharing your world with us. It seems that my last shipment of maple syrup must have been lost. I'm sorry -- but I tried.
I really appreciate you Diana
