Yes, I’m Japanese.
Today, Almost Japanese electrical appliances support each frequency.
About 120 years ago, the electric power company in east of Japan installed a generator which was made in Germany. That’s frequency is 50Hz.
But, western company installed one was made in US. That’s frequency is 60Hz.
Even today, That custom is kept up.
