Thank you. I've used a viewfinder as well. Never tried it with an Arduino but I'm gonna now. Thanks again. That's pretty cool. A lot of good information.
hello, i was wondering what would happen if the sync and signal cables didnt have the resistors and was connected to rca? which is what i did, can't get the image to stop scrolling vertically
Hello, thanks for your comments. I did not developed the library and the hardware interface. In this case the biggest job was to find out the pins on the viewfinder and to properly tune the potentiometer to get a nice and sharp picture on the CRT. The library and the simple hardware interface adapter is well explained in the link below. code.google.com/p/arduino-tvout/ All the best, Emanuel
That is so cool! Nice presentation too. Did you use the electronic voice because English is not your native tongue? If so, thanks for going to the trouble, otherwise I wouldnt have understood what you were saying!
Hello, thanks a lot for your appreciation. This was one of my early videos that I have made with the aid of computer voice. I have to say that I'm not a natural speaker but anyway I have used my own voice in my last videos to practice a bit.. Hope these will be appreciated too. All the best, Emanuel
That's excellent advice in general, though I would guess that as the voltage and current input for a tiny CRT like this limits the stored power, so is presumably much less dangerous than a typical mains powered CRT TV.
I are you disable? Wy the robot voice? Nothing in this planet is more anoing then that great video don't be 😨 afraid be you we will like the video anyway
No, luckily I'm not but if I were would it really be a problem? Are you used to offend people when you dislike something? Hope that at least the contents of the video will be useful to you. Cheers.

Didn't know that Stephen Hawking had a RUclips channel

Thanks for commenting. :)
I use one with a Pi Zero W and it displays the time using vtclock.
Any comments. You better appreciate this, it’s what you asked for. 😬🤓

nice job!! how did you know what ohm resistors to use between the arduino and the viewfinder btw?

Hi, I really appreciate your project. Do ypu mind if I could have the source code and the resolution of the CRT?
Pretty cool
+HDXFH Thanks! :)
2:22 where can i find this connector?
Is the Sony OEM that comes with the viewfinder. I have no further information, sorry.
I’m looking to do exactly this but the video refuses to load
Hello, I've re-edited the video and now should work again. Thanks for letting me know. All the best.
@@antiElectronthank you! It works again!
I have a small CRT like this.
I want to drive it.
