I love and appreciate that you still consider items every with holes. Yes to mending clothing, because they still have plenty of life left!! ❤
Yes! Especially at the bins people will leave stuff that have a minor hole or the seam has come undone a little or a strap came undone all of which are easy fixes and 90% of the time not noticeable that you fixed it!
I've commented before about never having luck in the dress section and last week I found a real wrap dress like you did ( I say that because a lot of items are made to mimic it) and it was also petite! It was $8.49 from New York and Company. I don't plan on wearing it anytime soon but I couldn't pass it up and it fits like a glove!
I’ve been looking for a polo dress like that too! But $16 IS expensive! I’m the same way - when I thrift at other thrift shops and then go to Goodwill I’m like - say whaaa?!?
Lately Goodwill has been making me laugh out loud with their pricing. Things that should be priced high are not, and things that should be cheap are marked up. It's comical

Gosh these thrift stores been looking on the internet for prices or something because it ridiculous on the prices. I spied behind the counter, a I.AM.GIA pair of cargo wide leg army green pants with lighter green pockets and they had it priced at $70 but I so love the look of them and being a large they would probably fit. So I waited for the color tag to be 50% off and it happen to be $10 off purchase of $35 or more. So I ended up getting them for $25, this is the most expensive thing (minus furniture) that I ever purchased from a thirft store. They fit perfect but having buyer's remorse because it I would have waited a week, they would have cost only $.75 (but would they still be there). I really like the brown leaf pants and I think the fit is perfect because come fall they are going to look killer over some brown ankle boots. I think that wrap dress is a vintage DVF dress. I resell full time and it just looks so much in style and quality to vintage DVF wrap dresses I've found before. Not sure if there's any other tags on the inside like an RN number to confirm it, but pretty sure it is.

I also just realized I haven't seen any new videos from her but I checked her Instagram and she recently had a baby so she probably doesn't have time for RUclips. But at least she's all well.
I'm new to your channel loving the videos. Just a little suggestion when you are looking for pants wear Leggings or Biking Shorts and a T Shirt or Tank Tops. Then when the fitting room are closed you can slip pants on. Evening the dresses and skirts.

How do you do it to not feel discouraged when you see other young people with similar style at the thrift? Anytime I see someone young with trendy outfits I feel so on edge like I gotta hurry up and get all the cute pieces. It ruins my whole thrift trip cause I dont even enjoy it. There have been times when I see them exiting the thrfit with huge bags and I dont even go in cause I figure they took everything

@Catherine Barton It just ruins my mood like I don't even want to look cause I know everything is probably all picked out. I never go to thrift after they've been open for more than 30 minutes like I gotta be there AS SOON AS THEY OPEN or else I just won't even go cause I will just be anxious the whole way there and then when I get there and see their carts full of all the cute stuff
@@mikailacravalho-meyers782 true but when there are resellers they literally take everything that is cute and trendy even if it is not in their size which sucks, people thrifting for themselves is great cause not everyone has the same style or size but when there are resellers they know what is trendy and even tho it is not their style or size they will take anyways
I used to think like that and never got lucky at the thrift. But these past few months I realized that everyone has a different eye for style. I've been at the thrift at the end of the day with tons of trendy people there with me and am shocked by some of the finds that they left behind. Just keep an open mind and know that what's for you will still be there!! Even if they took some cute stuff there's more than enough for everyone.

No apologies necessary regarding prices...I've been noticing thrift store prices going up, up, up...and I don't like it. I can't bring myself to pay $20 for a pair of used shoes or even $9.99 for a blouse. I mean, come on! Great haul again. Love the polo dress and graphic tee and those brown pants! Magnifique!
