keshav I have 18 different sql servers. on each sql server i want to execute the same steps and tasks. right now i have a package that connects to each sql server one at a time but i am not sure how i can do this in parallel so if i want to connect to few servers at a time and run the tasks. maybe form a group of 5 of them and run them in parallel. problem is i dont want to copy same steps for each group 5X. can you think of a way to address this? thanks
thanks mate...i would like to know if the etl logic is step wise , you can overwrite the steps , how can we use parallel processing . eg : moving file from place to another then thru for each loop some script task , uploading the data with ensuring no duplicates and sharing the uploading the some dept for their need. please suggest
I am just wondering, whether you are able to implement the checkpoint also for the parallel processing and if any one of the process fails then by using the checkpoint it should execute only the failed process task instead of the all of the successful tasks
The approach and presentation is very clear.
