If rarity collection 2 had 1 more retro card it would be chefs kiss. Still great IMO.
I do like that they gave us the Silent cards
I might be the minority here but I really think feeding us unique alt arts of OG retro cards here and there in sets would crush it. Pokémon has done a really good job of this

I think comparing how much each set makes it back from the cost of the box is more fair for RA01 atm lol
Rarity collection still trumps number 2 by a good mile. Although I admit the qcr in number 2 look amazing especially crystal wing and trishula and alternative dragon
They picked some really nice collectible cards at least for RC2

They're both amazing sets, but I prefer RC2
Congrats on the pull’s RC1 is still my favorite so many great cards that can go into any deck but RC2 is growing on me
I am on the fence between the two, I think RC2 really stepped up with their Platinums but definitely could've used some more desired cards, like maybe just Thrust(no way S:P was ever going to be in here)... Either way, both are a TON of fun to crack open!

It’s definitely hard to make it fair only based on the fact that RC2 has more cards per pack even tho RC1 has more packs but less per pack I think it might be worse with the euro print box
With the prices up for alot of rarity collection 2 ima say it will get the w today, Barrone not so bad

so many staples in RA01 in lower rarities cost more than high rarity cards in RA02 🙃
Threshold above 1$ and most likely RA01 would smash the RA02 💣There's 5:1 Secret Rares in RA01 valued above 4$, 5:2 in Ultras above 2.5$, same with Supers.

Definitely like Rarity collection 2 but i will say it was like a couple of good cards short. Could have went without Sol and Luna but hey.
I prefer first rarity collection as they have way more staples and meta relevant cards that u can use in almost any deck specially the ash blossom short print is so worth hunting for
Can definitely agree with that. A LOT more playable cards across a ton of decks
Even if you just take the MSRP price of both these boxes out of consideration RC01 crushes RC02 just based on cards you actually NEED in your decks to play the game.
I'll take a talents, called by the grave, ash, and imperm super rare over a QCR Crystal Wing every single time.

I think having it in monstrous revenge prevented that. Couldn’t have 2 QCR prints lol

For me rarity missed some cards for Phantom Knights like Rusty or Scales

man I think rarity 1 is just so hard to beat... such amazing staple cards. Rarity 2 is sweet, don't get me wrong.. but definitely doesn't beat the hype from when rarity 1 was released IMO.
Might have made it closer if you added any ultras and secrets that were over $1.50 🤷♂️

I actually didnt really like Rarity 2 as much (still a nice set) but I really enjoy some of the Rarity 2 cards :)

Rc2 doesnt have a set limit of what rarity you get. Rc2 has more shiny cards but they arent worth anything either.
I like R01 more but I am starting to like R02 more and more.

RA02 has a better selection of mid-range value, and plus the quality (for the most part) is much better.
Definitely agree. Doesn’t appear that the CRs foiling is going to peel off inside of sleeves either lol

In terms of playable cards, RC1 is amazing, and RC2 is straight trash!
