    They need to navigate it like K-State football does. Recruit the high school ranks and then fill gaps with the portal.

      Agree. I think looking at lower level dudes with proven production would help generate more effort and consistency too. Not that it could be a whole team of mid major dudes but it takes a village

    Tang needs to trust a players track record. If a player had a reputation at another college. That player most likely will have that same problem at K-State. Tang can’t be a savior for troubled players.

      I think you’re close to the money there. Some dudes deserve shots and can be fixed, I mean I know the knock on quis was that he was too intense and would get into it with teammates but then you have a dude like Dug where he’s straight up unable to play in certain games. It’s just a weird approach
