As a parent I doubt I'll ever be able to bring myself to watch this series. But hearing a non-parent be so obviously moved and shaken by it, just goes to prove what a masterpiece it must be.
As a parent it was an extremely difficult watch for me to see parents having to move mountains to get justice. There are portions in the show that left me not only speechless but also somewhat breathless. Each character has left a lasting impression irrespective of the length of the role.
The last episode was so tough to watch. . . My mind was completely disturbed as to how they suffered inside the hall. I choked in that episode. A relevant one in these times. The only shortcoming was the editing, I guess. . After a point, it became a bit chaotic as the characters getting established from episode 3 to 5. . Overall. A good watch. Rajshri Deshpande. . Woah, whatta performers ❤️❤️👌 Well articulated review, Suchin!!
All love for FC but please don’t give out scenes and reveal moments that should be experienced by the viewer. Pratyush/Sucharita/Anmol does it great! Your end segment was good just the beginning you gave it all away!
Suchin, on behalf of Film Companion, has not given anything away that will take away from this webseries. And this comes from somebody who has acted in it. I have been told by the makers that I am in Ep. 5. BTW, I haven't seen it yet. And I don't know what each episode holds and how the entire series pans out. I intend watching it today. And this, in all humility and love, is to critics of critics (Suchin, in this case); pls watch the series first before you criticize a review.
Can film companion reviewers ever review a movie or a show without describing scenes or giving out the screenplay? It's not just about spoilers sometimes it is also about robbing the experience of the viewers. It also goes to show the inability to write reviews without describing the scenes frame by frame. Like, why would I want to know what happens in the 6th episode exactly? What was the need to give out the episode number there? and why would you tell the tragedy itself is shown in the last episode? Sorry don't call this a review, this should be called an essay. Same goes with majority of Anupama's reviews as well. Invariably I feel all your reviews should be tagged with "Spoiler alert". Hope you take this honest feedback and rethink how the reviews are written.
@@anupamaMall that’s the thing, I wouldn’t read the description for every episode. And there’s no need to spell that out in the review isn’t it? I myself am saying they are not spoilers, it is merely ruining the viewers experience of the show
So you're annoyed that a review of a show that's About the story of a terribly tragic fire reveals that that show recreates.....said tragic fire? Or is it that it specifies the episode number ? That was the real mystery to keep under wraps? You may want to sit down for this next part but this is in fact...a true story. It all actually happened. Good luck avoiding them spoilers and maybe avoid Google for 7-10 business days?
@@suchinmehrotra I never said I had a problem with the show or what it shows. That the show recreates the tragedy is already revealed in the trailer. What is not revealed in the trailer is the screenplay and when it is shown. And what exactly to expect in “episode 6”. It is not a “mystery” per se, but I am just annoyed about the details of screenplay and episodic occurrences that you felt the need to mention for some reason. For ex. you revealed that is shown in the last episode. That wasn’t necessary to mention was it? Not just this review most of film companion reviews spoil the fun of discovering the show as it goes by revealing dialogues that are not in the trailer, Even describing few scenes how it plays out, and revealing details of screenplay etc. honestly, I stopped watching your review towards the end fearing what else you might reveal that would affect my watching experience. just my thoughts and honest feedback. I am not troll. I rarely comment on RUclips videos leave alone film companion. There was no need to take the sentimental road by bringing up “terrible tragic fire” in a way to question my sensitivity to the story. I didn’t mention that at all. I have lost family to fire too. That is also the reason I care for this show.
@@suchinmehrotra so you think I don’t know the fact it’s a true story and it actually happened?? Really that is how dumb you think about your viewers are? Start respecting viewers before making assumptions. You have lost my respect today. As a regular viewer and subscriber of film companion I feel attacked and ashamed I gave you guys the respect all these days. Again, by spoilers I meant giving out screenplay etc. remember not everyone, at least the average viewer has the luxury of time like you to view it all as soon as it is out. Leave alone watching it in one go. So what do you mean good luck avoiding? Shameful that I have to explain this to you even after I have specified it as an honest feedback. Probably you are just a good writer, not a reader :) can’t even interpret a feedback in the right spirit. Good luck to you nevertheless.
I have no problems with you describing the show or telling what happens on 6 episodes because I feel while watching a series, sometimes reviews of episodes or what happens on what episodes helps some viewers like me to go on watching the series even if when we feel the series is boring. Just ignore the snob comments.
Sorry bro but i disagree here. The screenplay is too weak.Actors failed to deliver the emotions and that includes talented Abay deol.It just does'nt connect .I stopped watching it after 2 episodes.
Do you agree with this review?
Review is good. It's Abhay Deol. I'll see it later. Watching Shantaram TV Series nowadays.
We don't have the privilege of watching the show 2 days before the release, so how will we agree to the review so soon?
As a parent I doubt I'll ever be able to bring myself to watch this series. But hearing a non-parent be so obviously moved and shaken by it, just goes to prove what a masterpiece it must be.
This was amazingly written and woven together.
The review itself is so well articulated that i immediately want to watch this show ❤️

Very well articulated review. Fairly detailed and well paced !!

Very well reviewed by Suchin 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Its your best review till date Suchin. A show like Trial by Fire deserves no less!
:)

Curious to know why Pitchers 2 was not reviewed ?
Great review..you are doing a good job 👏 👍

This is hands down one of the best reviews I have heard in a very long time. Well done 👏🏼
This may be good but I do not want to see such stories. Sometimes best to keep it silent. I want to enjoy watching warm movies and shoes.

If you read the description of the episodes then you would know that the tragedy is shown in the last episode. It's not really a spoiler.

Can I get the full cast please?

Your review told me NOT TO WATCH THIS WEB SERIES. Don’t be too smart in making videos as you hurt the original show.
Well reviewed 👏
Watched the first episode.. That was it..!!
Intolerable....
Painfully boring...
