Excellent tutorial. How do I get a free version of solidworks downloaded. I'm currently using the online version which I can only use for 1-month and which logs me out every 30mins.
This is helpful, but the method you are using to dimension the positions of the 7mm holes is poor practice. You are showing it from both ends of the part, which can cause the dimension between them to change if the length of the base or it's positional tolerance is ever changed. Hole positioning shroud be from a single datum unless it is the intent to have their positions vary with the part overall dimensions.
