I have been running this(800 type) for more than one year; running it on a wet/dry filter so it has a pretty good contact time. In short, I can not imagine having aquarium without UV; well worth the price.
I have the Reeflex 800. I’d urge everybody not to buy it. Changing the bulb is easy enough but there is no way to inspect let alone properly clean the quartz glass tube the water flows through. My fish shop suggested undoing the tiny torx screws revealed when removing the bulb but I’m reluctant to do that in case it knackers the whole thing. Nothing in the manual. I asked Eheim on their web page “ask a question “ and also emailed them. No reply. I also have an Eheim aquarium, a Vivaline, and that’s badly designed too. The plastic framing is a total dirt trap and very hard to clean.
Power supply dead after 2 years of use.. I work in a store that sells Eheim and i can tell you that the quality has gone into the gutter these last years as most of the parts are made in chine now days. Shop is considering changing brand.
Don't think you'll need to make that decision, almost impossible to get anything eheim these days, seems they don't care about the UK market anymore. But yeah the quality is now not as good as it was. Unfortunately their new MD seems pretty useless.

Same here, running it on wet/dry. UV-light is absolute must IMO.
Thanks so much, I want to buy 2 of them because I want to do the same as you are doing tbh ❤
Iv had the 800 model. Noticed that overtime the reflector gets haze and blistering from uv.
It has never leaked thought.
You have a really nice, well organized set up!
my dear.
pls suggest ne if i use this product for my 75 gallon aquarium .
along with any kind of other filter is required ?
I wonder if you could do a mod and make the water spin/spiral inside with a elbow connector instead of passing straight through
Nice review mate, seems like it worth the price.
is it normal for the light bulb to stay on for only a few seconds after connecting the device to the socket?
Really Great looking setup! Thanks for the video
Hi, are you still happy with these today ? Do you think we can have them setup at the horizontal ?
What's the best way to turn it from 16/22 to 12/16 hosing?
I want to do this too I'm thinking the hose connectors reducers
Is it ok to do sump to sump sterilisation I know it’s not the best also can I mount it on its side?
How Long is the UV reeflex 800?
