I have to be honest, the beginning walk through of the storage shed is always my favorite part of the video. Seeing the progress made is satisfying, and looking at the mysterious items to come builds anticipation. The unboxings are gravy after that.
A unique selection of vintage barn found tools is a rare find for tool enthusiasts! Come see the hand crafted Voltage and Amp gauges! A must watch for the true youtube subscriber!
It is a real pleasure in my soul to comment favorably for the internet’s number one RUclips broadcaster, Chris at the Ultimate Recycler channel. His honesty and humor give meaning to my life which is in need of refurbishing. Chris is a relic of a bygone era but his classic look gives authenticity to the knowledge he seems to have in the big cranium he supports on his shoulders, specifically C4-C5. Any restoration Chris does is a must-have view for me. It showcases his excellence as a broadcaster and preserver of sundries. His AI skills may be lacking, however his screwdriver wielding is exceptional.
Hi Chris, cracking video, again. Have you ever considered a "spares or repairs" shelf at the shop for people after a "project" that saw could get a couple of dollars and releive you of the hassle.👍
I do sell some items as projects Eddie, but don't want to fill the shop with low quality broken things. Good thought though, sometimes a couple of dollars for a repairable item is better than nothing at the transfer station and it keeps the thing in circulation!
Thanks Chris, some more interesting items there, those meters cleaned up beautifully and some uncommon tools there too ! Apparently the peculiar pliers are a "Lamp Bulb Plier" if you search for the company on "Alloy Artefacts" ( Museum of tool history ) there is a link to a catalogue from 1951 ! I wonder if the radiator cap wasn't secured properly and fell off in the road and that's how it ended up so beat up ! Don't appologise about the rant, I'm with you on that subject, AI or not exaggerated claims and doubtful hyperbole get on my nerves too, Unique is a very over-used word as is Expert I find increasingly !
Thanks for the tip regarding the pliers Andy, I will investigate! You could be right about the cap - it has taken a hiding somehow! As for AI - yeah it seems many of us have our gripes!
totally agree with you about a.i , especially for the description on ebay, To me the item description is there to give information about the actual item, condition etc, can see no use for the a.i description at all.
Yep, AI just fills in blanks with "best guesses" which can often be totally inaccurate - and then pads out the description with 'nothing' words! It's a pain!
As an eBay seller, I tried the AI description a few times and it was never an improvement over even leaving the description blank, although I always say a few words about the condition of the item myself. I even bought an item recently where the AI lied about the condition of the item. While the seller kindly refunded me themselves, it would have been grounds for an "item not as described" claim, which mandates a free return or refund even on a non-returnable item and counts as a defect against a Top Rated Seller ranking. It is rare to find an application of AI where I wouldn't prefer a human's half-assed or minimal effort attempt over the flowery, repetitive, and untrustworthy efforts of an AI tool.
I'm glad many think the same! AI does essentially lie by filling in blanks with its "best guess". This can certainly mislead and will cause a lot of unhappy ebay buyers I think! Thanks for watching JJ 😊👍
I refuse to bid or buy on eBay when a lazy AI description is used. I guess I have a similar irk with this. Then again, it might help people who have difficulty with spelling/writing - but it should be toned down some notches. Weird creature. Anyhow - wonderful stuff! Cheers from Stahlwille-Land.

It's satisfying every time I walk into the shed and see one more empty shelf! Glad you are enjoying the series Kayle 😊👍

Brilliant Nas! Are you sure you are real?? 😜🤣🤣

I'm not sure how to take all that mate! 🤣🤣
Ah, this episode reminded me of work.Whinging and rowing and circles.., yep that's me :)
Hahaha 🤣🤣
Always a pleasure Chris. 👍
Thanks Dudley! 😊👍
Hi Chris. The ring spanner is a split ring spanner and used for pipe nuts. Nice haul 🙂
Yep, I have used them in a previous life! Thanks Dave 😊👍
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Cynthia 😊
The spanner with the cut outs is for fuel pipes , slide the slot over the pipe drop down on the nut. Great tools .
Yep, I just wasn't sure if it was a home modified spanner, or an original flare nut spanner! I think it is original! 😊👍
The spanner is for fuel pipes , slide the tool onto the pipe and tighten the nut. Very handy tool .
Sure is handy, and much better than rounding the nuts over using a shifter or open ender!
100 mph tape! 😂
It's the first thing in a farmer's tool box mate - after fencing wire & hay band! 🤣🤣
I found that if it's advertised as rare, it's because the seller only has one of it!
Haha, yeah that sounds like the mentality of some sellers! 🤣
I agree with your gripes about AI.
Thanks Katrina, it seems many do! 😊👍

Yep, I can see that many with limited writing skills could find it very useful - but it does need to be toned down, I agree! Thanks Sören! 😊👍
Please be careful shaking the meters, they have incredibly light coils and return springs inside, just like an avo meter 😬
Yes Sarah, I was careful not to jolt them to much!
Another nice lot of stuff! The row lock could be driven into the ground as a garden hose guide.
That AI description is beyond stupid. Words fail me.
Thanks Dee! They didn't fail me - but then I enjoy a good rant! 🤣
