Good first attempt. You need a better cleaner key around the driver, a strong fan to blow back the hair of the shooter, and fast blowing smoke from the gun barrel that is produced with each muzzle flash. A little car bounce up and down might help seal the deal as welll. You are on the right path to a dynamic scene!

idea to make the recoil more realistic, if you can, on either the inside or on the side not seen by the camera, add a dc motor, and on it put a weight thats made off balance, so that it shakes the gun,
or even connect a wheel to the motor, then connect a rod to the wheel, and connect the rod to a piston mechanism, then it will have an even more realistic feel. then either connect it to the trigger via a button or put the button somewhere out of sight like where you thumb rests on the handle or even where your chin rests.
