Wow, I just love the fact i got to see life before and after RUclips. I been driving professionally for over 30 years, driven tankers, dry vans, flatbed, but this is my first time ever seeing how double and triples are hooked and unhooked. Thank you Chuck for making this video and RUclips for allowing chuck to share this with the masses.
Chuck you are an awesome man of God and an inspiration brother. I miss the life of being out traveling as I used to. Studying for my Pastoral degree and a doctorate in theology. Seeing your messages week after week gives me some great content and inspiration. It's good brother. Keep it up and I will never miss an episode. God bless you and your amazing family in Jesus name.
After a long day of P&D what do I do? Go home and watch the most recent video from Chuck! Thanks man! Definitely needed something for entertainment tonight while I make dinner

I can completely agree with what you said about working overnights. I bid for the overnight shift in my shop for this year and after the first week or two I had no problem with it. I love how peaceful a truck shop can be at night since there are few drive ups and no management breathing down your neck. roadside service at night can be nice when its not winter and its not on a highway.
Wow Chuck. This is probably the best video you done so far to date. I loved the introduction of you loading up your pickup truck and seeing your nice and organized garage. I learned a lot with watching this video. I’m strictly a day person. I love doing days and being home at night. I think if I ever get my CDL and work for Estes I’d be a P&D driver because I like the quietness and not dealing with ppl. Just give me a truck and trailer and the open road.
I drive ltl for another company. After 20 plus years I go to the second largest city in our area from the capital. Many drops and pickups and close to 300 miles daily.
Sad, last time I saw your home and driveway you had a Corvette parked in it. Good memories- Rick in a dress, you putting in the garage floor and all the fun stuff you did with the black mamba. Still have my Z06 3lz 2017. Thanks Chuck for being who you are no matter what you do. God bless.
Hi chuck! I was inspired with your videos while i was OTR. I wanted to stay closer to home and was looking into PnD or linehaul and your videos are very helpful. Ive noticed that otr drivers are easier to adapt to linehaul night driving than pnd. People who have never done otr driving is harder for them to adapt to night driving for local gigs, as we know when were on the road we drive days and nights makes it easier for otr drivers. I decided to do linehaul with a contractor in my state, training was great. This is my first week alone, the farthest we go is 600 miles round trip, no touch, terminal to terminal, home every morning, decent pay. Keep the videos coming , thanks alot for the informative videos you make! Stay safe out there .
Man, the OU fridge and the garage flooring bring back great memories of your old corvette channel. I hope you get back to that someday. It was literally the best...! Be safe out there, brother...
My first 9.5 yrs on the job was on mids as we called it. 10pm to 8am, 4 on 3 off. Of course 7 - 8am was breakfast because the day shift came on at 6 and 7. WE had fun!!!
It took me a while to get the hang of backing up a B-Train. I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out until finally I realized that I had to control the direction of the rear trailer by controlling the direction of the lead trailer. It felt really good the first time I backed down a street and then through a gate into the customers' yard.
I used to drive for XPO Logistics and hated it as PnD driver. Left the company and came to Estes. Hands down best trucking company out there. Love the videos! Keep it up! i Work at the 025 terminal as a supervisor now if you know where thats at which you probably do. Just didnt want to put the city out there haha. But keep the videos up man really love them.
Thanks for enlightening me on what type of company Estes is to work for. I just took drug test yesterday for them to start working as a Yard jockey. I drove pud for 5 years, but just want to get to know them from "take-off" perspective" before they force me in a truck. Estes seem nicer than the freight company I worked for before.
I'm definitely liking the extra board now that I got a Sunday night start . when I started 9 months ago I was a Tuesday start. and Dallas kept me covering crappie bid runs . but now being a Sunday start no one bothers me 😂😂 best driving job iv ever had

Glad you are enjoying the Easy Board Driver. Send me an e-mail and we can swap numbers. I talk with other drivers often and you are welcome to come join.
I did that fedex ground for 2 weeks, couldn't last lol. I don't like hooking doubles, finding trailers, etc and working all night. I got a dedicated no touch drop and hook route now, still get home everyday and only work 7.5 hours (I never hit 8 on my eld)
