Wow thank you so much. Very informative. In your example with the innocent person being charged with the 100 people on conspiracy how does that person get out of a life sentence on an overt act of conspiracy
I am also a student, but i think the answer is in 18 U.S. Code § 371 If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. (No life sentence to begin with)
Ok please edify me about this : a female received a item belonging to a deceased...she gave a non verbatim, then days after another that contradicts her first story, whereas she lied even about her own age .. how useful that person is in court if she is the main witness?
This is great, thank you :)
