There is a place not far from Tokyo. An area of unique snow culture. For a snowboarder, it is a place of joy that allows him to leave tracks on top of the white surface that storms coming from the Japan sea create. This place is Snow Country, also known as YUKIGUNI.

This actually is a short film not just a riding part. Loved the visuals, ideas and the music, artful is the word of the day. Fan since a kid, love the adventurer side of you and ofcourse keep shredding those mountains till they collapse.

I live in yuzawa the main ski town less than 10 min from most of these resorts.
cheap accommodation is easy to find empty resorts whit amazing powder go see it yourself =)

I went snowboarding in Hokkaido last year. Amazing experience. I encourage any snowboarder or skier to make the trip. Well worth it.
this is is mostly in the mountains around yuzawa, it's down south in Niigata. we also get good snow, and less crowded than Hokkaido it's great!

Could you share some infos on what camera equipment you use? just briefly as I am interested what camera gear withstands such extreme conditions and filming. Thanks in advance!
Cheers! For this film we used Panasonic Eva and Gopro mainly. A few shots with drone too. In this area you need to cover bigger cameras. Low budget style would be a use of plasticbag for example 😊
