Just want to say I 1000% support you drafting to have fun and trying to make splashy plays, rather than focusing on grinding out the best winrate. Winning in Magic is so freaking overrated. Unless there’s money on the line, it hardly matters at all.
In my second sealed tournament I had a green, black, red deck going. Went much better than I though. Got the hedger which is the 5/5 vehicle that is broken. Finished 11th on 36 people playing.
I think there was a pretty neat WU Eerie Tempo deck in these packs (the Researcher, up to three Elegant Entryways, two Tunnel Surveyors, Gremlin Tamer and fliers like Piranha Fly and Erratic Apparition to put counters on). It's probably the archetype I want to see in action the most
Love how Nizza scoffs at the Cursed Recording then sees Doomsday Excruciator and drops everything to force it. Definitely some "Drake meme" material. I get it tho, it was fun watching you work out how to make the jank work as well as possible.
This got me thinking of whether a card like Doomsday Excruciator should count as a black card. It's really not castable in any deck, there is pretty much no amount of swamps you can play outside a mono color deck where its reasonable. I get the BW is the reanimator colors in this scenario, but it seems like a card you could play in BW reanimator even if it was red, if your only goal was to get it into play.
actually played vs this at a pre release on Friday it was amazing i was able to let him get it off 3 x and still win all 3 games ( we played an extra one cause it was fun to doomsday)
pick 3 in round two the rare was there and a bunch of crap uncommon cards. I love wondering what commons were taken. I wish there was data on those kinds of picks.
Please pause longer on cards instead of constantly whipping on and off stuff you talk about, enjoy the content but chaos of cards popping up and down and going on and off the same card to just interrupt reading :(
Idk I wouldn’t have passed the uncommon 5/4 demon TWICE tho 😂 it’s a good reanimating target and feels fine to cast, let’s you discard big things and kill small stuff. First pass was good but letting it go a second time for the Amalgam idk

That is a "feature" of play boosters, not some sort of arena bug, it can just happen now, i imagine they will stop it tho eventually cause it sucks
