@@SassystarlilyI’m not sure I understand what you mean fully. Please elaborate if you’d like. If you mean you can’t pray because of despair, I want to encourage you that I know how that feels. Hang in there. Think of it as leaning gently toward Him in whatever way you can… listening to a bible audio instead of reading with your eyeballs right now. Spend quiet time alone and if you can’t pray, just think on Him and His promises. Just listening to worship music to remind you of His goodness. In other words, leaning in to Him and being aware of His sacrifice for us & of His goodness.
and I ADORE your logo... drink GOOD coffee read GOOD books. LOVE that. Yes, why waste time on mediocre books and coffee when you can enjoy the good stuff!!! 😁😁😁
You NEVER let your subscribers down! Wonderful intro, wonderful recommendations, THE BIBLE - Amen🕯️. I read Anne a long time, someday I will read it again. I've also heard that Little Women is good for Christmas, I've only watched the movies. My Fall TBR is full for me haha 😉😅. Take care and God bless 🕯️
Wow, June! What a wonderfully kind comment to find today. Thank you so much for your kind words!! I hope to read Anne in October! Little Women does span from December to December of one year - so cozy. I plan to read it again before year’s end! Blessings to you too, my friend. Very blessed by you 💙🥰📚
Love, love, love! 🥰📚👏 Loved your intro. soooo much! Watched it twice! 🕯️😍 🍂🍄🏵️ I couldn't agree with you more about your recommendations. Love them all. That version of Pride and Prejudice that you showed clips for is one of my favorite movies. Now I wanna go watch it😂 I don't really rewatch movies much, but I do that one! And 'You've Got Mail' 🥰 Once again I'll say that I LOVE that you include the Bible 📖🕊️♥️ Looking forward to reading Philippians with y'all, dear friend 💯
Your kind words are so appreciated and comments like that really keep me motivated. So thank you, truly. Yes, all this made me want to pick up P&P again and then watch this movie!
As always, so many great recommendations. I’m in the middle of Pride and Prejudice. The ones I haven’t read yet went on the TBR. Looking forward to studying Philippians with you.
Awww, I'm so glad! Taking a leisurely time to go through Pride and Prejudice is highly recommended for sure. It's such a unique one and love it so. I hope you love it.💙 Thank youuuuuuu!
@@eMsBooksAreEverywhere oh, Yay, I’m glad you got a new book idea! I am very impressed with author Kristi Ann Hunter and can’t wait to read more! So good that you’ve read all the rest. They are timeless, aren’t they?! 🤩
I’m reading pride and prejudice for the first time bc of your recommendations 🥰 I just finished the book of Ruth this morning, making my way through the Old Testament. 🤗💜
Awwww 💙 that is so wonderful you started P&P ! I say, take it slow to soak in all the goodness! 🥰 How awesome you just completed a Bible book! Way to go ! It’s funny, Ruth was on my list to choose from this time around. Will definitely be visiting it again soon. My patreon buddies and I decided to have a Bible study section on there and will be starting Phillipians together soon. So excited. 🤩 Thanks for being here and sharing those things! 🥰
🤩🤩Yipee. It's a 'take your time' kind of adventure. The writing changes from sarcastic banter, to funny thoughts of main character, to meaningful words of faith. I enjoyed it more when I went slower to savor it all. I can't remember - do you typically read Regency era much?
First off, bravo for including the Bible as a comforting book! I just completed Ecclesiastes and I too, have been praying on which book to read next. I adore Anne of Green Gables as well as the rest of the series. I have to admit though I hate hate hate romance books and I find it quite sad that most Christian books I see reviewed are romance. I'm not hating on anyone who loves that genre, it is just not my thing. If you have any recommendations of Christian fiction that have no romance , I'd love that.
Thank you so much for the encouragement! I love God’s word so much. Thrilled that you do too!. And Anne is so timeless, isn’t she?! I hear you on the romance. I never thought I would read so many. I thought they were all cheesy and awful but there are some gems out there. I will be sharing a review next week of at least one that wasn’t focused on romance and will now make it my mission to gather a list of Christian fiction with no romance or super light.
I love that you included the Bible with comforting books ❤
Thank you for saying so. 🥰 it is my ultimate comfort book for sure and I hope it can be for others too! 💙
I love it, too. My faith is failing 😢 I can't pray or read the Bible. I don't know why but it's scary to not even be able to pray.
