Nice one, Colin. Aha! Between 5:00 mins and about 5:20 mins, I think I can see that there are 2 temporary scaffold towers installed up the main vertical steels behind the barrel-cladding, taller and behind the permanent ventilation duct towers. They go as high as where the cantilever trusses are attached, just about the same level as the height of the back wall of the bowl. This would suggest that they ARE for re-painting the steels as already witnessed on the South and North Stands. I guess they had to wait for a lot more engineering activity to be completed under the barrel-cladding than on the S/N stands rooves.
When the West stand is lit up it should look fantastic. I hope the blue lighting on the East stand still has some adjustments to go as I think it looks a bit odd in that it doesn't illuminate all of the cladding.
Relax, Mike. The East Stand lights are on low power and focused beam, not yet the full spread. Probably AFTER the West Stand lights have been trialled they will then put them on full power and 'spread' such that it creates the apopearance that the lower-half of the barrel-cladding will be a broad band of blue. Any slight variations in the exact focused positions of the lights now, due to the differences between the "Eyes-on-stalks" or the ones circumnavigating the obstacles on the East Stand Mansard Roof will be irrelevant when the beams are spread.
Brand new state of the art stadium and folk are banging on aboot the terrific looking lights.....unreal
Last time I looked, the lights were very much part of the stadium!
Nice one, Colin.

Looks great tbf.

The angle of the lights aren’t adjusted yet and the beam is set to narrow and can be widened to light up a bigger area if that helps
Surprised the waterway bit isn't lit up at night. Security guards need to be careful
It will be. Not finished yet
@DuncTheBlue1878 yeah I know. Just seems strange to see it unlit now
Lights on north east corner look higher than the rest (first 10 lights)
I.m disappointed about that row of blue spotlights on the West Stand - I hope this isn;t the 'finished article'...
Somebody said the lights are only running in test mode at the moment and they can widen the spread of light out
Do you mean the East stand?

What a mess the pitch looks .have they put any seed on yet.
