RPM needs US manufacturing! Need those vortex baskets in my life! Get to practice putt on the new one at Blue Ribbon Pines which is dope…. then play the round on Prodigy tho hahahaha!! Love the Go Throw stuff yall
Luke and Nate commenting about Ezra's approach shot spin rate made me think Go Throw could do a Mechanics of Disc Golf show, sponsored by TechDisc maybe? Have them give pros several of their favorite molds and play on a course or even to a big virtual screen. I know a lot of the disc golfers I've played with are nerdy about discs and technique.
Loving the coverage. I can’t wait to see everyone throw at the Oratia Orchard in Auckland. Though the mountain now uses the initial Māori name of Taranaki, it was called Mt Egmont for a time which I believe is where the Egmonster moniker for the tournament is derived. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the awesome coverage! 🙏 Some graphics showing which discs is used would be awesome, if you ask me. Best of luck with the new journey for Go Throw :-)
I still think these RPM Helix baskets are the best in the game, but it's clear if they're elevated, the discs won't catch as well. However that's more likely due to heavy chains used than the basket design itself.
love the fast and fantastic content! went and shredded the utah mountains today with the fresh snow we got but this shi makes me wanna GO THROW now! need a winter NZ trip!
15:14 yep, can confirm we're out there. I'm one. I've got a calf sleeve dedicated to the series. I also immediately thought of the Majin saga when I saw Robert's hat.
Wish there was more. If disc sales push the sport forward, it's absolutely idiotic not to. I think it's just everyone being so careful about "promoting" another brand, when in reality it could just be normalized to talk about disc selection and then everyone would get their shine. Luke had to rephrase his comment about the Harp, lol. "He could do it with any disc". Just get over it and stop protecting your brand. All discs are high quality now, no one is being fooled by this type of obfuscation
Got my tickets for the Hideaway tournament. Enjoyed walking with Fry and Conrad during round two last year. Don’t mind the $45 for the two day general admission.
31:25 admittedly, I'm a newbie, but I always felt like the benefit of having the box is that you should get to choose to go first or last. Is there any real reason why that's not feasible or desired?
Thanks for the excellent coverage. One suggestion: There's absolultely no need for the graphic "Go Throw Replay" every time you show a shot again. Instant replays have been around for 50 years now. We know what they are.
the integrity of the catching device doesnt change when you elevate it. the putt coming from below just gets pushed out when players still tap out with push putts from their waists. you wouldnt see ricky tap out that way. had they used a turbo, they could have minimized the angle, or layed up further from the basket. saying the catching device loses integrity takes away from the skilll needed by players to change their trajectory by not being one dimensional and then also undermines the need to strategize for minimizing elevation on the greens. whats next, dont place a basket on a slope in case a player lands at the bottom and needs to putt up at it?
I wish Disc Golf would make a rule like the PGA. It takes more mental toughness to actually live in the moment, and not drowned out the distractions that exist. These distractions should effect everyone equally. PDGA should ban earbuds and earplugs.
@@Mdjagg I agree, that’s part of it. And the aesthetic of it is unprofessional. Imagine if Calvin, Rick, Gannon and Paul had them all on in the final round of a tournament.
Those baskets look cool but the double chains at the top of the basket are stupid. When it's elevated to a certain extent and your up close all you can do is hit the top of the basket and pray. Bullshit
You have to be literally the only person in the world hating on these baskets. Have you ever actually played on them, because I have, and they are fantastic regardless of elevation

We have them in milledgeville ga.
Brp just said they’re looking for sponsors to help them install the vortexes on the whole course, be the change!
BRP is getting 27 of them this year
These uploads are doing work for my seasonal depression.
The passion is almost tangible in this commentary. Outstanding work fellas.👏👏👏

When are they playing in Auckland, thanks
Love Perkins on the mic because I get to hear someone make incredible references like DBZ and LOTR
Wow, you guys are working hard getting this up so fast. Thanks for the amazing coverage!
Thanks for the awesome coverage! 🙏

Perk has always been one of my favorite pros, more so when he off handedly mentions Dragon Ball. More Perkins

Best coverage I’ve watched in a longgg time
Coverage is fantastic but i think it would be nice if you added the tee signs when doing the fly over so its easy to see OB and the like.

Luke, " those people need to try and fix that." Uncontrollable laughter!
I love Luke talking about what molds they are throwing

This should be the international basket!
Best part about these coverage is the disc talk. Not shy to talk about what they throw unlike DGN that cant

Absolutely. Was coming here to say the same thing. I’m guessing every DG follower wants to know every disc being thrown. Great job Luke
awesome coverage!
Rooting for Robert since he’s from Houston. Love seeing him on this card. Looks like he’s throwing DD this season 👀
Even though it was overcast on the second day, it made really good quality of filming IMO. Reminded me of the Portland open.

I watched DBZ as a kid and now I can’t unsee that hat 😂😂
lol the random dbz comment from perkins this is why I love him lol. now what version of boo is your favorite?
If the Go Throw hoodie on the site was the same as Luke's, I'd buy one. Make some premium options for the merch and I'll definitely get some.
I think Ezra should putt with a Challenger OS, probably be closer to a PA1 that he used
The description is slightly off, it’s still showing the names of the round 1 players, just an fyi

Maybe raised baskets should be remodeled - so they catch better on a wider area if chained out
I was hoping for some Taylor footage and I got Humphries 😑 when's the fpo coming out?
Glendoveer of the Southern Hemisphere 😁
Cheering for the Kansas kid
I see you Majin Perkins 😉
Anyone know what putter pirate Ezra is putting with? Missed what they said last video and didnt feel like going back and finding it.
Sonar
Thanks
Never seen Luke without his sunglasses. I thought that was Gerard Butler throwing some frizz for a smooth second.
Loving this content and coverage! Great professional, smooth production. Like, share and subscribe people. Lets GO THROW
Nate dropping a DBZ reference lets gooo 👌🏽
Good ole majin vegeta probably the best dragon ball arc
Here for All the content, not associated with pdga and dgpt
Nate has always been one of my favorite commentators. Loved him when the pro tour went to Europe. Now he's making Majin Vegeta references? Come on now
I knew we had some DBZ fans out there!
Nice DBZ reference at 14:55 hehe
Speaking of Dragon Ball, I'm currently going through the Namek saga right now.
Hey, Go Throw! The slow-mo replays need a name like "slow throw." I love the coverage, by the way!!
"Go slow"
This isn’t Jomez ho
I wish I'd thought of that! 👏 👏 👏
How is Ezra throwing maltas that far??
36:35 this sequence was sad
That player list for round 2 looks a little too familiar.......
Maijin Burridge, ha!

Dragonball Z kicked ass, catch up Luke!
Go throw!
Majin buu!
Still wearing AirPods?
what difference does that make?

Looks trashy, definitely agree, and it is an unfair player advantage, which is really why they should be banned.
@@MdjaggYou can’t call it “unfair” if everyone is allowed to use them

HATE BALL GOLF COURSES....
BUT THX FOR THE COVERAGE.
