I’ve been believing the lie about having a “soul tie” to sexual partners when I wasn’t a Christian. It often haunts me before I sleep thinking about past trysts and binding satan because I thought the influences were trying to steal my joy and plant condemnations in my mind. Now, I know that’s not true. Once again, God had given me an answer I was seeking. 😌 Praise His Holy name ☺️
The Bible says that if you lie with a prostitute you become one with her. So why wouldn't there be something that God would need to break between you and somebody else?
And it's not something for us to despair about because Jesus paid the price for all that stuff on the cross and he's giving us power over all those things and to break that stuff in His name.
In first or second Samuel it says that David and Jonathan were one in spirit because of their brotherhood and their friendship.
The devil always has counterfeits to everything God has including that stuff. You can become one in spirit with people who are not of the Lord.
If there are examples of spiritual oneness that are Godly then again why wouldn't the devil have counterfeits for that?
But again there is hope because we overcome him by the word of our testimony the blood of the lamb and Jesus paid the price for that stuff.

Thank you brother Matt, I'm so glad you brought this topic up. I remember being taught this back in my early teen years. How much confusion it caused, as it was typically tied to a reason you would lose your salvation or be looked down on by the religious people.Oh yeah and the need for deliverance! Lord have mercy on those who teach this nonsense & error.
I am so grateful for the freedom Jesus gives us because of the finished work of the cross. Jesus set me free from a strong pornography addiction immediately (when he found me as a lost sheep) it was tied to all the promiscuity I was involved in and he SET ME FREE from all that. I am glad to hear you teaching on this topic, as there are many bound in this.

I’m glad you talked about this, I was so confused how “soul ties” was biblical. This is nowhere in scripture. I think preachers teach this so people don’t have “ premarital xes”.

I have "Texting" bros and sisters ( biological siblings) . We used to call each other, but they stopped after a while. Then I still called them every now and then. When I noticed they stopped calling, I stopped calling too. The began texting, so since then we've been texting only. They only call if there's a death in the family basically.
These Deliverance ministries teach that sex outside of marriage creates a soul tie. They also say someone can get transference of sirits from the person they have sex with. For example, if someone have sex with a witch, they'll get that spirit.
Is this " Spirit Spouse" aka water Spirits, aka Marine Spirits, aka Aquatic Spirits, Succubus and Incubus Spirits,( etc spirits- other names referred to as spirits from the water) connected with soul ties? Do you know? I've been hearing a lot about that too. Thanks.

I hate Kenneth Copland and his friends theology and definition for who a man is (Spirit????), but God said in Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. So, If a man is a spirit, why soul is needed to live and why look like the angels (Spirits)? What is the difference of yours from Kenneth Copland and Kenneth Hagin and the like. I have listened to your other amassing message right and comfortable, but is for only for this topic. Make it is reasonable for if there is any verse to support you this definition?
