- I bought these bracelets 30 years ago in Cancun, Mexico on vacation. They are all stamped “Sterling 925 Mexico”. After several tries to remove the years of tarnish with many different products and techniques, I realized they are in fact silver coated brass. Sigh. I almost threw them out. I can’t believe I was scammed. They looked, felt, and sounded like 925 silver. Thankfully, they did not cost that much. Lesson learned…but I really can’t believe they were stamped 925…buyer beware!!! Anyway, I almost removed the rest of the silver to enjoy them as brass bracelets but then I found this product on Amazon. I watched a few videos and read the reviews (some not great) and decided to give it a try because I knew I at least had brass bracelets and this was supposed to work on brass. The transformation was AMAZING! I am elated with this product and will continue to enjoy these beautifully restored bracelets for years to come. Thank you Nushine!!!
Ps. There is no odor, but wear gloves. I got a little product on one of my fingernails and the tip turned red.

They still look great a year later and I haven’t had to treat them again!!
Welp...I'm convinced that this is at least adequate for my silverplate resurfacing needs!

For anyone skeptical...yes, this works just as shown in the video. But the part can't' be coated and it has to be degreased well with mineral spirits or similar. It applies a decent layer. I did 3 and was shocked by the results. Just try not to contaminate the bottle by using from the bottle. pour in a disposable container. And WEAR GLOVES...( it will stain your skin!)

I don’t understand your meaning “degreased”. What are you applying this product on; car parts? Jewelry? Other? Interested in seeing your results.
Hey there! Loved your review! Would this work to remove the yellowish aspect of my white gold ring? I’m tired to pay for a rhodium plating 😅
Looks like it would take a lot of product to do a little and the cost is a lot.
Surprisingly it didn’t take that much product to do all of those bracelets…and they were in pretty bad shape. They still look great. Hope that helps!
